#25: Tabak Especial Cafe con Leche and CAO Moontrance

Cafe con leche is a great smoke and buying them in a sampler with CAO Moontrance is a bonus. Ya can't go wrong with this purchase. So far they all burn even and the taste is fantastic.

Tabak? Can't say anything bad about them. Awesome cigar. Moontrance? Tasted like a waffle with maple syrup. Poorly constructed,sloppy and uneven draw.

I ordered the sampler but I didn't receive the CAO Moontrance five pack, instead I received five Macanudo Gold Label cigars. I have enjoyed the Tabak Especials before and the Macanudos were excellent, but I missed out on a first time sampling of the CAO Moontrance. I contacted Cigars International to advise them of the error and informed the customer service agent of the error and after telling them that I was only calling to inform them, not to complain, they very graciously resent my order at no cost to me. Unfortunately, the Moontrance was again substituted with the Macanudo Gold Label cigars. A second call revealed that they were out of stock of the Moontrance and had unilaterally chose a substitute. Don't get me wrong, I'm not dissatisfied at all with the minor exceptions that I wasn't informed of their substitution at the time, and that is my only reason for the four stars instead of five. I remain very satisfied with every order I've received from CI, but I still don't know if I like CAO's Moontrance. The Tabak Especials are one of my favorite smokes.

As with other Drew Estate smokes, this is a Winner. I usually smoke the blonde versions, however this dark iteration is a palate pleaser. Have not tried the CAO yet, but have in the past, should be great.

Great combo.

Combo is great except for sending Macanudos “TWICE” instead of the Moontrances. This is a great combination but unfortunately I didn’t get the second part of my order correct. Customer service was awesome, but whoever filled the order to replace the Macanudos, still sent another shipment of Macanudos. Didn’t even call customer service the second time. Feel like it would result in the same failure to send the correct item.

Great Price on Two Big Flavorful Sweet Cigars!

Great construction on these fine smokes. I would definitely recommend this combo to anyone who likes a mild flavored stick. Thumbs up to Drew Estate for another fine smoke.

I can speak to The Cafe con leches it's an excellent Sunday morning cigar with coffee while enjoying the morning on the patio with the Mrs.

The Cao's were somewhat dried out, the Tabak's...my favorite were good as always!

Love this combo, 2 great cigars.

Absolutely worth it. The CAO was very good for a low-priced cigar, proving once again that you don't need to spend a lot of money to get a good smoke. The first third was sweet with a good even burn. The second third was a little stronger but very tasty. Toward the end it got a little spicier but kept good flavor most of the way with the exception that it did start come apart a little and spiciness kicked up more than expected. Overall, a good cigar. I'll add my two cents about the Tabak once I get a chance to burn one. BTW, CI customer service is exceptional.

I knew about Drew Estate, but the Moon Trace was quite a surprise. They made the perfect duo of mild and medium mild with either a touch of Bourbon or sweet coffee. The construction of the leaves left you enjoying a nice quality smoke for quite sometime.

Wonderful aromas, but a bit inconsistent in the draw. Pleasant but a bit more reliability would be nice.
