Toscano began in Florence, Italy in the early 1800's. Quickly becoming an Italian icon, Toscano cigars swept the market and became a huge part of the country, both economically and politically. Smoked as a sign of independence, sold alongside newspapers, employing more females than any other factory in a time when the women of Italy were at a standstill in their fight for equality, Toscano truly has stood the test of time as a cornerstone of Italian history and culture.
