White Heather by JC Newman - Packaging Mistake Blowout

The bush is back!

In the early 1900’s, White Heather was an incredibly popular cigar. Manufactured by Cuesta Rey & Co. in Tampa, FL, the cigar had a huge fan base until it mysteriously disappeared in the mid 1950’s. Today, White Heather is back, and better than ever. And the even greater news is, when it comes to value on the dollar, this JC Newman-made comeback kid more than delivers.

Coming from the makers of Diamond Crown and their PENSA factory in Nicaragua, the home of many 90+ rated blends including Brick House and El Baton, and best-selling fan-favorites like Quorum, this premium cigar contains a traditional ‘Cuban-sandwich’ style blend. With a beautiful Connecticut Shade wrapper and a handpicked selection of well-aged Nicaraguan fillers, expect an enjoyable mild-bodied experience every time. The natural sweetness of the wrapper is balanced out by a slight spice, and, together, this blend easily stands up to the original. Ever wonder why everybody in classic movies constantly had a cigar in their mouth? It’s probably because they were enjoying a White Heather. And now, you can too.

Recently, we received a shipment of these bad boys sans bands. While they may not be as ‘pretty’, they will be discounted to the bone! So that means extra savings for you on this JC Newman-made treat only for a limited time!

White Heather Review
Mild smoke. Fair deal.

So far so good
For a good "yard gar" it's really hard to beat. Very inexpensive so it can't be compared to a premium cigar and shouldn't. So far through my first half box they have been everything I had hoped. Nice burn, decent flavor, stays lit.

good cigar. mild. Didn't feel cigars were wrapped very tight. While I enjoyed them, I don't think I would pay retail price.

Great mild smoke. Always keep my supply of these going. Perfect for cookouts or mowing the lawn. Also great for when you have people over who don't normally smoke cigars. This is a good one to let them try.

Torpedo explodes
I like a mild cigar, and I was very impressed with this one. My buddies liked it too and when they asked me what it was I forgot because of the packaging mistake, "oh well". Loved it !!!!!

Great mild smoke. Will purchase again.
Great cigar to have in your humidor to smoke with friends or family that aren't regular cigar smokers. Its a smooth, mild smoke with a decent flavor. Everyone I have given one of these to has been happy with it. I personally prefer a more medium-full cigar but I still enjoy these with friends. Great for golfing or lawn work as well. Always try to keep some of these in my humidor.

Smooth & Mild...the way I like them.
This is a great, mild, well wrapped cigar that enjoyable to smoke in the late evening.

White Heather just OK
Not a bad smoke but the stick was not rolled tight enough. The experience is smooth, the aroma pleasant after the lighting but not good just out of the package. The burn is even but the ash is dark. I might try them again but would like to see more quality.

pleasantly satisfying
I'm a bold and full smoker, but this little gem delivers in flavor and satisfaction. A core that is light but right there with a nice nutty profile not quite spicy. I like this stogey cause it's different, far from complex with really three distinguishable nuances, nutty, woody and here's where it shines, like it's name your hit with an herbal heathery texture, again, not quite a nutmeg but a cool herbal feathery overtone of heather, very aromatic on the pallet and through the nose. Its light from spark just past half way then takes slow curve into bolder profile that excellerates for a satisfying finish. If anyone tells you they can't get no satisfaction, introduce them to white heather and watch the progressive smile as they get to know her.

Not much
Mild smoke but not much of a flavor. Burns great but expected just the hint of something. Good cigar to have when working or cutting the grass.
