I liked the taste of the cigar, but a couple of them (so far) had a very poor draw, which made the experience unpleasant.

These are fantastic cigars. I shared one with a friend and the smell of them burning is fantastic. The cigar is excellent in its burn and draw quality. I would rate these 5 stars but they are a bit bitter when you first light them. Otherwise they are great. Would purchase again especially for the value vs price.

Pleasantly surprised at the quality of these bargain priced sticks. Attractive dark habano wrapper with a bold aroma. Rolled just right for an easy consistent draw. Start a tad on the harsh side but develops quickly into a pleasing creamy and complex experience for the palate. Smooth all the to a nice spicy finish. Definitely on my reorder list.

This was my first experience with the Villiger brand. I wish I could say better things about these cigars but I've been pretty disappointed with more than half of the bundle. The few that burned well were not bad. Hints of pepper throughout & fairly balanced flavors, mostly smooth from start to finish. But 3 in 5 burned so inconsistently that I cannot describe it. I'd light it, take a few draws, and without warning there would be an out of control run an inch long or more down one side. Or it would tunnel, suddenly burning through the wrapper halfway down the stick. The precious few I've been able to salvage (sort of) inexplicably stopped burning less than halfway through the cigar. Even letting them age for 3+ weeks at a steady 70% relative humidity has not improved the quality. So far, 7 of the 12 I have tried have wound up in the trash. I bought these on a deal and, unfortunately, I came out on the short end of the stick this time.

Villager Bold Toro Habano Awesome construction, nice flavor. I would share these with "buds" if I weren't so cheap.

I can't wax eloquent with analogies to leather, woods, spices, etc. I just know it delivers a taste commensurate with the name. I'm not a snob for construction or boxing. In fact, I rarely have burn issues with a 'sandwhich' fill cigar. I can't say that for long-fillers. I like hearty Nicaraguan blends, and the Bold is a great value that you probably will not regret trying.

Good cigar for the money. Sometimes it has draw issues, but keeps a good taste throughout the smoke. Great to chew on and keep in the pocket for later. Not bad.

I received my order of Villiger Bold Toros. They were just as good as the Robustos, only they last longer. They have very balanced natural flavor of spice and pepper.

My new everyday dog walking smoke. GREAT PRICE, taste and smoke like a five dollar cigar. I have been buying cigars from CI for ten years and this is absolutely the best buy I have ever come across. Every Villiger Bold Toro I have smoked out of my order so far has burned great, drawn perfect and feels well made in your hand. They finish well too!!!!

Customer Testimonials
Could not believe the price on this one. Burns and draws well, clouds of smoke, great flavor, and enough "kick" to keep you interested. I am ordering another bundle today!
DH of SILVER SPRING, MD
Pretty solid cigar. You can't beat the price. This is not a sit down read, relax and smoke type of cigar. However when you have friends over and wanna hand a cigar over or maybe in a time crunch this is the perfect cigar. I reccomend keeping a bundle on hand for the just in case moments.
ML of Colorado Springs, CO
First one right off the truck was pretty bad and I thought I was out of the $20 bucks spent. Let mine sit in the humidor for a hand full of weeks pulled one out the other day an boy. It was a darn tasty smoke nice volume of smoke (I wouldn't say full bodied) great taste and a pretty good ash and burn. For the price they are a great smoke and will not disappoint but only if you let them rest and age a little bit!
CC of Battle Creek, MI
I have smoked these before and I remember it being a much smoother full-bodied smoke. These seemed like they could use some time in your humidor before smoking them. I would buy them again. The price was right.
CW of Cooper City, FL
I just got my Villiger Bold bundle in. I tried one last night and it was a very smooth smoke. I really liked it.
LM of EL PASO, TX
Sending them to 68W Medics @ Schofield Barracks, Hi. I want to say "Thanks" for all they do, without them many troops would not get home. Thanks fellas and enjoy!
WM of Glendale, AZ
Great cigar for the price! I like to relax and unwind with a cigar after a long day's work, so I'm always on the lookout for some enjoyable yet budget-priced sticks. These fit the bill. I bought a mazo of the robusto size. Great medium flavor with a pretty even burn and nice draw (maybe a little loose at times but not bad). The description is pretty spot-on about the flavor profile. Nutty, earthy, with a bit of spice. These are great knockaround smokes that also hold their own in civilized company. Thanks CI for these awesome everyday cigars!
DR of Bowdon, GA
Great morning smoke with a cup of coffee . Hints of coffee and pepper finish. Wasn't big on these at first , but after they mellowed in the humidor a few days . Much better . Nice even burn for a buck a stick .
JF of West Nottingham, NH
This is a great value for the price. It is a nicely constructed cigar that burns well to the nub. It has good taste, nothing to knock your socks off, but I would recommend this stick for an everyday/dog walking smoke.
AD of Cape May Court House, NJ
$20 for 20 Churchill cigars with a 50 ring? I assumed they would do the trick for a bunch of guys for a pool tournament but I didn't expect to enjoy them as much as I did. No one believed that they were only $1 a piece. Think I will buy another bundle, throw them in the humidor for awhile and see what their full potential can be... If I don't smoke them all before they have a chance.
JC of Philadelphia, PA
These are great everyday cigars
DG of MATTESON, IL
Got the robusto size. Wanted a quick cigar to have on way home from work. These are fine for that. Like all short filler cigars dont cut them too deep. Just nip the end abit. Great for sitting in traffic listening to sports talk radio station, yard work, fishing etc.
