Tasty little things.Victor Sinclair Serie '55' is an exquisite cigar utilizing a 5 country blend of tobaccos and an extensive 5 year aging process, hence the '55' name. The Corojo variety is wrapped in a gorgeous dark Corojo leaf, and offers an incredibly smooth, complex, medium to full-bodied blend. Delicious, no doubt, and these convenient, bite-sized Petites make it even better.
Good burning, sweet little smokes.
Just received them in the mail today. I'm about halfway through the first cigar. Boy are they tasty. Was looking for something I could smoke on my 1/2hr break at work and I definitely found it. I'll be ordering these on a regular basis.
Nice and quick with a kick, the VS 55 Corojo in any size is a good cigar, and the Petites are just the ticket for on the road or between meetings when there's not time for a larger cigar. Don't let the little fellers fool ya; they pack a good kick.
Good value for price, consistent construction, draw and respectable semi-rich flavor...again, good for the price.
Good and strong, considering the tiny ring size, but tasty.
These are absolutely fantastic. The quality is impeccable, and the flavor and burn are unmatched at this price.
Received these via an MMAO deal. A little smaller than I had anticipated and thats on me, but these little sticks smoke very well. They produce a better smoke cloud than some large cigars I have smoked over the years. A pleasantly flavored stick that lasts for about 20 minutes. If you are a fan of small cigars then you can't go wrong here purchasing them through MMAO.
This is a great short smoke if you have 10 min you have time for one of these medium body petites.
Absolutely Fantastic! WILL BUY AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN!!! Great job, big smoke flavor in a little package. You will not be disappointed, great for a quick smoke!!
All I can say is wow! These are the best minis so far. Flavor change at about 3/4 is a great surprise! The ring size is as posted, its a bit bigger than most minis, and being a x cigarette smoker that's important to me(smaller size I tend to inhale deeply). I already have these on my next week order, try em you`ll like em', and at a great price too! Way to go CI, you make herfin fun!!
Just recived my order and had to try 1 of these Corojos. Wow awesome 20 to 30 minute smoke! I bought a 50 pack just on a chance. These lil suckers are great for a quick and flavorble smoke. I am a maduro man so I will try them next. These will be ordered again! Price is great also! I tried other minis and did not care for them, but you guys get a thumbs up on this one!
Very tasty.
Outstanding Cigar from start to finish nice draw and even burn all the way though. I will be recommending them to my friends. I really enjoyed the rich creamy smoke. I will Definitely a buy more, Thanks CI.
Just traded my buddy for one of these. It's a pretty good stick. I will be purchasing them for my stock!
I bought these on a whim for the price and i am very suprised at how good they actually good they are. I will be buying again.
First puff, not bad. Second puff, pretty good. Third puff, Excellent! Just be careful.. They're so good that you'll wanna smoke em quick. Don't do what I did. I kept puffing and puffing cause I just couldn't stop that rich flavorful smoke from flowing. I smoked it too fast and got a little queasy. That's just a testament to how good these are.
I bought these based on reviews and wow. The Maduro wrapper holds together the flavor of this cigar wonderfully. Perfect for an evening on the deck with a nice single malt, pair it with a dark porter style beer, or even coffee. The flavors of this stick will support ANY of them. It says coffee cocoa and dark tobacco as the flavor marks. Well I might not taste every nuance, I can appreciate the blend for what it is. I'll say I've gone thru a bundle of the maduro blue label's and every one of them smoked great. Smooth draw (with the exception of one I had to break open a little bit), even burn thru the entire stick, solid ash. These cigars are well constructed and hold their form well when smoking. Trying to find a way to make some more room in a humidor for another bundle while CI still has these in stock. No way can I sneak another humidor into the house. LOL. KEEP THESE IN STOCK CI! PLEASE!
These are one of my favorites, burn great, and the taste is awesome.Thick smoke all the way through!the price will keep me buying them as long as you cary them. You folks at CI have helped me get into cigar smokeing,I can affod a bunch of great cigars at a great price!I will not order anywhere but CI for all my cigar needs. You rock
Im new to the CI nation but with the deals they give I can smoke some great cigars and this VS maduro is great!burns good ,great ash and the taste is to die for.best maduro I`ve smoked yet and will buy a bunch more of after I smoke these puppies up.Victor Sinclare has never let me down yet!CI you guys rock!
I love this little guy he may be small but he is BIG on taste and smoke I will buy again
I'm just getting into cigarallos. I've been testing out different brands/flavors...This little cigar is amazing. Everyone should try it and you definitely can't beat the price.
Good cigar for the money! Enjoyable with a dark beer to go!
Just got my order of Victor Sinclair Serie '55' Petites (4x30), and out of the tin... Blah. It carried a harsh, almost cigarette like taste with a bitter finish. It could take some time for them to rest, but not sure I will try them again. I was looking for a good short smoke, as I can't really enjoy the occasional Churchill during a 30 minute lunch. These will be given away. Thankfully I didn't spend too much on them.
Best small one going, rich full flavor, no plugs like the big guy brands.
A serious little cigar with a flavorful corojo wrapper, the Serie '55' Petite delivers a short smoke with a hearty medium bodied experience. You will like these gems if you are a medium or full flavored lover. At the price, you can enjoy them one after the other, too.
....hardly any plugs and tasty. Not true with many other small ones..
Best small cigar ever.... not one plug in 20.
Great little smoke for the price! Burned well and no construction issues.
Outstanding little cigar. Complex flavors and smooth aged smoke in abundance. Smoke these slow to be rewarded with 20 minutes of cigar pleasure. My everyday smoke.
Great short smokes
Received these little guys the other day. LOVE 'EM.
Attention: ALL VICTOR SINCLAIR FANS, One word AWESOME !! The Victor Sinclair tins corojo 55 series (petite 5x30) “small, cheap, and efficient” is a major understatement! These little babies are basically “a full flavor toothpick” a mild to med is more of the mid to full end of medium body looks like a big cigarette and smokes like the best of the best cigars just too good to be true on the price it's more then right an outstanding smoke for just pennies! Victor Sinclair has done it again!
When you want a cigar that is not a "little sliver of a cigar", this is the one to go to. It has oomph just like the larger VS Corojo Reds', pleasing and smooth aftertaste and the corojo goes all the way through the smoke. It has never been bitter for me and takes about 20-25 minutes to smoke one. The tins can be kept readily in the humi, unopened, and are as fresh as when they were kept in CI's vault. Just remember to keep the tin open in your humi or spread them among blander cigars for them to soak the oomph. Oh, the cost is so tremendous that when I have to give someone an unexpected tip at the house, short on cash, I give them an unopened tin! I now have an electrician and plummer who come running to help me! I've ordered 4 sets of these babies and the cost cannot be beat!
These are great little cigars. I rarely have time to nub a churchill or even a robusto. For the times I want a cigar but don't have the time to smoke a full sized this is my go-to. I took mine out of the tin and wrappers and stuck them on the top shelf of my humidor and resting only makes them better just like their big brothers. Another great smoke from victor sinclair.
I'm new to the cigar world and this was one of my first major cigar purchases due to the value and good reviews. I got a brick of 50 and couldn't fit them in my little humidor with the existing singles I had bought, so i gave one box as a christmas gift (should've got that guy a tie or something I didn't want to smoke) and put the rest in my humidor. I first would smoke these at work with a cup of coffee, it had a taste that was much like certain oils used in sicilian cooking(i was a dishwasher at a Sicilian restaurant). That was good but found that a good sweet tea or lager complimented this great little cigar just right. Only problem is that they do burn hot if you hit them too hard(given they are 55's that makes sense) some unraveled a bit but did not make a difference because they are a quick smoke. Only a few had a stale taste but the majority were excellent. Safe to say I have just got a bigger humidor and these little cigars are going to be ever present in it.
The Victor Sinclair Series 55 Petite is a big cigar in a little package. It has a smooth full flavor for a mild to medium cigar. More towards the medium. It make good smoke with a light draw. The only drawback is like many cigarillos and petites if you don't keep smoking it will go out fairly fast. But I would highly recommend it if you're looking for a good "big" cigar taste when all you want is good quick smoke.
Just ordered a couple more of these samplers before the price goes up. I'm not normally a fan of Cameroon wrappers but this one is great. An awesome smoke easily comparable with many 10-12 dollar smokes that are all the rage these days. The corojo is a very good smoke...easily comparable with many 6-8 dollar smokes out there. The sun grown is a good smoke easily worth three bucks...not really powerful like one would expect from a sungrown.. I'm not a big maduro fan and this maduro is the clunker of the bunch. OK smoke, but way to mild and no aroma from the wrapper while it burns....still...if you like mild smokes...the maduro is a decent three dollar smoke
Haven't tried the rest yet (but can hardly wait) -- the 55 Red Corojo is so good I had to hammer out a quick fan mail. Rather than the torpedo, I had the full-length presidente, which mellows out the full bodied corojo-enhanced experience. A gorgeous cigar (the whole series 55 is nicely presented), a great aroma -- both lit and unlit -- and fabulous taste.
To get me to post a review, a product has to be pretty damn good. These are that good (Victor Sinclair Serie '55')! I also love the styling of the flattened torpedo shape which makes it look as good as it smokes. I went through my sampler waaaaay to fast and will definately be ordering more!
I bought the "A" Sampler (Victor Sinclair Serie '55') on sale and WOW! These are very tasty right off the UPS truck. I have tried 2 already and am very impressed with the construction and taste. I had never tried a VS before but now I will be back. The 55 series is as good a cigar as I have had anywhere. Thanks, CI for introducing these to me and at a bargain price to boot!
I have tried all 4 (Serie '55' by Victor Sinclair) in the CI special and cannot decide which one I like best as they all have a supreme quality taste that is unbelievable in varying extremes. I only wish the great deal was not for one per customer as I would buy this package deal many times over, but instead will have to pony up and buy the Blue Maduro as it is sensational.
At CigarFest '07 I received a 6.5x44 (Serie '55' by Victor Sinclair)and the only thing I didn't care much for was the size. It has a very nice pre-light aroma, even burn and a medium + flavour I enjoyed very much. I shall buy a couple larger ring ones and try them; I'm sure I'll enjoy
Having been a fan of the Conneticut Yankee line as well as the Bohemian line I was expecting to enjoy the Series 55 (Red label). Well, I was wrong I didn't enjoy it....I LOVED it! One of the most flavorful and complex cigars I have smoked in quite a while. Highly recommend it to anyone!
Draws Easily , Burns Even , Smooth Taste with No Harsh Aftertaste , Red Label (Serie 55 by Victor Sinclair)
MY my my.... I just smoked my first "VS Series '55' Maduro" and I must say this is one of the best maduros I have ever smoked! This thing is so mellow and talk about chocolate! Wow! You can taste it! It had a great burn and nice peppery ash. You must try this cigar! You won’t ever look back! Thanks CI for the best deal on the net! PS Send em' to me and I will leave fan mail!!!! ;^)
The 55 blend (Serie 55 by Victor Sinclair) is outstanding, a complex and savory smoke. Wonderful aroma. The perfect after dinner cigar, it goes great with a glass of bourbon or an espresso. The maduro wrapper is my favorite, but the corojo and sun grown are excellent also.
I'm sitting here reading my latest CI catalog and enjoying one of the 55 maduros from the 5 pack (Serie "55" by Victor Sinclair) you crazies sent me. It doesn't get any better. This cigar is so oily I could paint my house with it!!!! This black beauty just can't contain all the dark oozing oils it holds! I'll be picking up a box of these from you when I get my next paycheck. Thank you CI!!!!!!
I love these cigars (Serie '55' by Victor Sinclair)! Nobody has them for a better price than CI. Send me free ones!
I recieved my 'Series 55' Toro Sampler two hours ago. I opened the box to a wonderful aroma and had to try one right away. I grabbed a Red Label Corojo and not only was I not disappointed, but won over. What a great cigar--I'm a fan for good.
Good roll and great filler. Loved maduro; it's strong, nutty, and held 2 inch ash. When I got down to the 2 inch butt, I put it in the ashtray only to look back and want to smoke the rest of it!
Well, you guys have yet to let me down. I just received my Series-55 by Victor Sinclair a couple days ago, and I was blown away by the enchanting aroma alone. I didn't get to really enjoy one until yesterday (I tried the Yellow Label). MMMMMMMMM!! Personally, I most enjoy a medium to full-bodied smoke, but this mild to medium stoge was DELICIOUS! I'm usually not satisfied with a weak smoke, but this was nothing of the sort. I just can't wait to get out of the office, go home, sit back, and puff down another one of those Series-55. I think it'll have to be the Blue Label tonight. I could always go for some sweet Brazilian ;)
