One of the best values from CI is the Victor Sinclair Baker's Dozen sampler. 13 Churchills, one each of their regular cigars, the Bohemians and Series 55 for only 25 bucks. I just spent an hour on the front porch enjoying a Bohemian original, it was great, and still probably had another 30 minutes left of burn time. Very smooth smoke, tons of flavor and great aroma. It never burned hot and had a firm white ash. I try and keep this bundle in my humidor to have a good variety of smokes from mild to full. I would consider this Bohemian Original as medium bodied as compared to others in the bundle. These have been in the humidor for about ten days and get better the longer they rest. I need to get a bigger humidor so that I can load up on this sampler bundle when they are in stock. I have purchased at least six bundles in the past year and I have not had any problems with any of these fine cigars from Victor Sinclair, and I can't say that about any of the other brands I have tried. CI, please keep these in stock!
A really enjoyable smoke for the money. Great cigar to give to friends and visitors, and smoking them yourself will never leave you disappointed. Looking forward to smoking some of the 6 x 60 big boys.
First let me say that the packaging of this cigar is really attractive! The cigars are packed in a wood box with a clear window that allows one to gaze into this treasure of rough cut diamonds. The cigars are surrounded by tobacco leaves that keeps the cigars resting nicely until they reach their destination. This cigar has a very pleasant earthy but slightly sweet flavor that is constant from start to finish. The draw is more than exceptible... although the wraper is fairly crude looking with lots of veins dressing this dark but rough wrapper, thus the expression" rough cut diamonds"! Below the surface of this ugly duckling rich smooth taste coat ones pallet. So if your not a stickler on the smoothness of a cigars wrapper, you will find this cigar to be a true "diamond in the rough"! Tastes really good!
Short and simple. A great cigar. Solid in build, fantastic flavors. I will be ordering A box soon.
To be honest I wasn't expecting much from this cigar. The wrapper had many large veins. Needless to say I was very shocked. Very smooth, creamy smoke with an even burn and excellent draw. Everything I have tried of the Victor Sinclair line has been top notch with an incredible value. I am hooked.
I have gotten a little tired of dominicans with a conn. or cameroon wrapper. It was nice to see one with a brazillian wrapper. Great consistant taste I would say mild to med. all the way through. great flavor never too strong . I will be always keeping one of these in stock for when I want a mild cigar or for my mild cigar loving friends.
The first time I tried one of these (Bohemian Original - Brazilian) I really didn't care for it to much... must have been something I ate. Now I try to make sure I have plenty on hand so I can have some to smoke and some to age because they have become one of my favorites. One of my biggest gripes about many of the brands out there is that they are rolled WAAAYYY to tight. Not a problem with these. Rarely will you find one that doesn't have an effortless draw. Expert craftsmanship, expert blending and a great flavor thats very easy on the palate. Oh and no cutter required. Highly recommended.
