BEYOND EXPECTATIONS
I prefer medium to full flavor smokes, but I thought I'd give these a try. This cigar is way beyond expectations. Nice draw, even burn, mild but lots of flavor. Don't pass on this one.

These cigars were okay, nothing special. Price was good.

A pleasant light smoke, undertones
A pleasant light smoke, undertones of sweetness, hints of Carmel, pepper and cedar/ earth. These flavors want to develop just never seem to. The cigar is nothing spectacular but a nice anytime of day smoke. They do get better in taste the longer left in a humidor. For the price go for it not a bad cigar.

Bamboo"s are the best
This is one of the best cigars Victor Sinclair produces, in my opinion. I thank CI for offering it in your 2-fer deal. While I am not an expert in cigars I know what I like. The slow burn and mellow flavor of these cigars are very a treat. Tham you again Phil.

Glad I gave this one a shot
Tonight I was doing what I typically do. Smoking a cigar I purchased from cigars international while browsing their website. Tonight I was smoking a Liga T 52 and came across the reviews for the Bohemian Bamboo. About a year ago I purchased a VS bundle and tried a few and didn't care for them at all. Tonight, I decided to dig back into the humi and give the Bohemian bamboo a try. Glad I did. The stick had a very light pack, wide-open draw, and fast burn, however, it was a very smooth and pleasant smoke. I can see me smoking these around the yard or while playing golf.

A mild, grassy flavor in an easy draw smoke
I received this cigar as part of my Brown Bag. I am not a big fan of the mild cigars, but this one was a very good for the class. It was quite smokey for the first inch, but then it mellowed into a smooth burn that held a strong ash and easy draw. I would call it a "grassy" flavor, when you get a flavor, as it is a very mild smoke.

The Big Bamboo
Nice mild smoke, good construction. Only minor gripe is when you twist the curly top to smoke one it really opens it up and it gets a bit chewy. Other than that it's pretty good.

Good Cigar!
I discovered Bohemian Bamboo when I bought a cigar sampler which contained two of them. They are smooth, mild smokes. I enjoyed them, so I bought more. I am usually a corona smoker, so I wish I could get Bohemian Bamboo with the smaller ring size, but for the price I open wide and smoke these delightful cigars!

I found the Bamboo more than an adequate smoke. Good flavor. What attracted me most to this cigar is the quality you get for such a great price. Wish there were more brands in the CI stash like them.

Consistent and Enjoyable at a Great Price Point!
The Bohemian Bamboo North Beach has quickly become my favorite "go to" everyday cigar. It is light bodied - making it a nice morning treat - and consistently smokes smooth, without any trace of harshness or bitterness. At a very affordable price point, the Bohemian is a must try for any cigar lover. - Jeff Snow, Ladera Ranch, California

Good just not for me
Its a good cigar no doubt. Its just not for me. I'm not feeling the flavors on this one. It did burn a good while, have great draw, cuts easy, no huge stems inside that I could tell, a little tough for me to light but on because its huge.

Suprisingly good smoke
This was a pretty enjoyable smoke. I got one in a sampler and it's been chilling in the humidor for the past few weeks. To be honest, I was sort of avoiding it, purely based on the fact that the band is pretty plain and I had never heard of it before. I mistakenly took it to be some generic 'cheap-o" cigar that got tossed in the sampler just as a means to get rid of it. I know, profiling based on appearance...pretty lame. However, I while trying to decide on a morning smoke, I grabbed it and thought I'd give it a shot. I'm glad I did. It's a very mild smoke...nothing spectacular in the flavor department. But it had a perfect draw. Burned very evenly. Very vague but pleasant aroma. I sat it down multiple times for up to 5 minutes at a time and it was still lit when I returned to it. Burned slow, taking over an hour to smoke. Accompanied my morning coffee very well. It's definitely taught me to never judge a cigar by it's band. Not sure if I would buy entire box of these, but I would definitely grab a five pack, or look forward to seeing one in a sampler just so I could have a few in the humi for a nice relaxing morning smoke to go with my coffee.

All I can say is Wow. This is why I love the brown bag samplers. One of these was thrown in and from the presentation to the last puff it was perfect. These will not disappoint. They are mellow, slow burning, perfect draw, and artistically built. You can't go wrong with these ones.

A Good Cigar at a Cheap Price
I was very surprised when I lit up the Victor Sinclair Bohemian Bamboo Big Sur. It is a smooth cigar, mild and perfect to be the second cigar I smoke because I did not finish my drink and the fire pit was still burning. Big Sur smoked well and helped me enjoy the rest of the night.

Interesting but quirky
Don't smoke these as soon as you get them, they need at least a month in your humidor to firm up and get consistent. This is a good cigar for those who like to keep their cigar in their mouth. The wrapper has a bitter taste that diminishes if you get it very wet. They need constant puffing (2 -3) to get a good mouth full of smoke. The flavor is very spicy at first, then mellows out as you smoke it. They aren't a good golf cigar because they need constant attention. They are not a creamy smoke, so I do like to mix them in once in a while with my other favorites. At first I did not like them, but over time I have come to appreciate their uniqueness.

Customer Testimonials
Excellent construction, draw and burn. Voluminous smoke output with an open draw. Smoke is thick and creamy on palate. Mild strength and mild to medium flavors. Flavors of toasted bread, sweet wood and hints of nutmeg. Slightly dry on the medium length finish with only a hint of cedar spice.
This is just an amazing smoke. Got it as part of a Victor Sinclair sampler, and it is my favorite by far, which is saying something since VS is my favorite cigar maker. It is simultaneously flavorful and smooth, a rare combination. Slightly woodsy, with a very subtle hint of pepper on the front.
Great cigar for those that want a smooth mild cigar. I recommend it to everyone!
These are simply unbelievable, from the ease of lighting, to the draw, to the taste, to the thick, creamy smoke...magnificent cigars at a top value!
Decent cigar...smokes long and evenly...bite off the pigtail and it opens a nice channel for the draw to flow through...they do dry out if you have to relight it which leads to wrapper shredding and breakdown...otherwise an all around good mild cigar
This is a pretty good cigar for Medium to Bold...one of my many favorites. A bit crisper and peppery, yet a smooth finish.
Smooth. Burns evenly and slow. Great taste! Simply awesome!
An excellent, mild cigar. I love to smoke these on the water when fishing. Holds ash well and cool smooth draw the full length.
I got these on 9/29/12, right out of the box they were great. Good draw, smooth, no bite. This will be one of my go to cigars. I can't wait till they've been in the humidor a while. Can they get better?
What a nice, pleasant smoke! A touch of pepper on the roof of the mouth, a mild bit of woodsy sweetness, nice even burn (even out here on a somewhat windy Pennsylvania day) and a nice buttery somewhat creamy flavor on the retro hale ....paired with water so I can taste all the delicate flavors...nicely done Victor Sinclair! Will definitely be back for more of these!
Quite a good one for the money. I am about halfway through a bundle. Every one has burned perfectly. These are tasty but mild. I have shared two and both those people liked them. The only problem is that they are very fat. Too fat for me. I would order more, but there are several other choices that I like just as much that fit my mouth better.
The Bohemian Bamboo is a positive winner! I ordered a bundle because of the VS association and continue to be delighted with them. Order a bundle and your only complaint will be that you did not order them sooner.
Used to smoke them years ago and then they disappeared. Glad to see them back in the new larger ring gauge. The construction, burn and wrapper are all first rate. Volumes of smoke. From the feel, to the look, to the taste, this is a high quality smoke. Very satisfying. Similar to the Perdomo Champagne in many ways for about a third of the price. If you like mild cigars, this is a must for your rotation. Don't be fooled by the bargain price. I just ordered another bundle. Highly recommended.
This (Bohemian Bamboo) is a SUPER SUPER cigar. I've been a moderate smoker for over 10 years and found this to be one of the smoothest and enjoyable smokes I've ever had and I'm addicted. My wife said I'm smoking more than she ever has seen me and it's because I really enjoy this puppy. Definitely try them but don't glom onto the specials because I'm going to!
Yee Ha What a great smoke (Bohemian Bamboo) for no dollars. I was floored by how good they were for the peanuts I paid for them. I was just expecting another run of the mill sampler when I lit the first one. Boy what a shocker! I'll smoke these puppies for sure now keep em coming! Well worth the bucks

Bohemian Bamboo

Gonz

"Hey mon, ya wanna smoke some bamboo with us tooonight?" - a dark-skinned Jamaican student said to me during my first week of college 15 years ago. "Um, well, hmm, I'll, um, maybe, well, I promised my parents, um, well, hmm, smells good, well..." This time on Gonz's bargain train, I've got some Bohemian Bamboo "for ya mon". No, not the wacky-tobaccy kind, but a deal coming from Dominican Republic's Victor Sinclair factory. With a great array of mellow-to-medium bodied cigars such as Don Rafael, Victor Sinclair Connecticut, Bohemian, and the super-premium Serie '55' the Bamboo is distinctly different, producing a tamer smoke that slaps you with a complex depth of flavor that I didn't expect.

I'm only through my 5th Bamboo North Beach (5.0" x 54) but just couldn't resist writing about it. Simple aesthetics turned me on to give it a chance. First, I know the untrimmed foot is going to give me an easy light. No need to drag and drag...and drag....and drag...to get this lit. Plus, the curly head cap has a cutter built-in, just in case your guillotine eludes you. Twist, light, and go! Woohoo! The wrapper is a nice, silky, thick Connecticut shade leaf, not the typical paper thin one you're used to. A firm cigar chock full of tobacco.

The flavor profile is a hoot. Struck by the expectation of a very easy going cigar, the initial burn meets that description precisely. A fuller body erupts more quickly and without introduction, surprising the taste buds and tickling the fancy with intrigue. Not overbearing or pungent at all, but a nice body stubbornly works its way into the smoke, leaving a soft peppery finish that lingers, but a light smoke that disappears quickly upon exhale. Creamy, yet dry and slightly spicy - that about says it all.

The burn remains even, the flavor profile consistent, and the cost....$2 per stick. Alrighty then, a box for me and all my friends!

Light'em up!
