Twin Engine Coffee - Reserve Honey Bear

The world moves pretty quickly these days, and sometimes you’ve gotta slow down and smell the coffee to really get the most out of life. And that’s just what the folks at Twin Engine are doing. Founded in 2013 in Leon, Nicaragua, this company is addicted to quality and purity. Their farmers are paid incredibly fair wages, and their production takes place entirely in Nicaragua — growing, roasting, and packaging. With Twin Engine, you’re getting the best coffee Nicaragua can possibly produce. But don’t take my word for it, just grab a mug, and you’ll see in no time.

Twin Engine Coffee’s Reserve series is crafted from only the best of the best coffees available. These are the offerings that Twin Engine considers their best of the best, and they don’t just talk the talk, they walk the walk. Reserve Honey Bear, or Oso del Miel, is a special process for preparing coffee beans. While the coffee beans dry, the residue of the coffee cherry fruit is left on the beans to imbue a natural honey sweetness to the cup. Light and rich, Reserve Honey Bear can bring the silver lining to any morning.

Good stuff
I'm a coffee snob and my ultimate is a strong cup of coffee with my cigar...often I buy green beans and roast them myself...that's how crazy I am. I buy cigars at CI, so why not try the coffee. I can say that the description is true to my experience with the beans. Coffees are like cigars or wine, they do vary depending on the climate, the soil, the roast---and subtle differences in the beans themselves.

The roast was a little lighter than I expected but, it was good and flavorful.
