Just Lovely
The thing that strikes you first is the beauty. The pictures don't do it justice. The blonde wood and its grains are simply gorgeous, and will fit nicely with a modern, minimalist decor. Even my wife loves the way it looks. The accents on the side and top seem to be a veneer rather than inlays, but whatever, it looks great. It's lacquered to a mirror finish. It's very heavy and well made. The walls are nice and thick. This thing will last longer than I will. It seasoned up nicely with Boveda seasoning packs. The included humidifier and hydrometer are very nice, but I swapped them out for Boveda packs and a digital hygro. It holds humidity very well and closes with a satisfying whoosh. I seriously doubt it can hold 175 sticks. My rule of thumb is to reduce the listed capacity by 25% right off the bat with any desktop model. Especially if you're like me and are loathe to smoke any ring gauge under 50. There are nicer and a lot more expensive humidors out there, and there are more inexpensive ones also. This, in my opnion, is the perfect balance of cost vs. quality. Definitely recommended.
