Straight from the book of secrets....

Here’s the scoop: the Torano family has this super top secret book of blends that dates all the way back to 1982. Inside, they have top secret formulas and theories, from blends of times past to future concepts that haven’t seen the light of day. Well, most recently, they tapped into this treasure trove of ideas and released Vault Blend A-008, which turned out to be a huge success.

Torano Vault D-042 was originally concocted based on a rare and flavorful Pennsylvania Broadleaf. Anxious to incorporate this leaf, but not sure where to utilize it, they stuck the idea in their book ‘o treasures. Now, it’s here and well worth the wait. Vault D-042 is dressed in a flawless Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, with a blend of Nicaraguan and Pennsylvania Broadleaf long-fillers. The overall experience is both spicy and sweet, coating the palate with a fantastic array of well-balanced flavors of coffee and tobacco. The overall construction of this full-bodied gem is exceptional. Take a peek inside the Torano family blend bible with Vault D-042.

Torano Vault D-042 received a well-deserved 91-rating noting: "The wrapper of this oily torpedo is dark and smooth. An underlying nuttiness becomes sweeter, leaving light impressions of cinnamon and chocolate on the palate."

I bought Vault L-075 before and was satisfied. It’s a good cigar and have ordered twice. So I ordered the Vault D-042 but it didn’t live up to expectations.

For the price these aren't good, they're excellent
For the price this cigar will point blank stun younwirh its build quality and flavor. It rates as stronger on the CI scale, to me it tastes medium to strong but delicious. Get these when they go on sale. You won't regret it.

Great Cigar
Had planned to set these back, however thanks to C.I. I wasn't set by the great price, so... I will call them however, a Great cigar and a shear joy for me to enjoy.

Nice nicotine bomb
Great flavorful cirgar. Be careful, in the last third the nicotine strength goes through the roof. Hopefully they mellow with some age.

Good stick!!
Bought these nice looking sticks on a whim. Received them nicely packed and well maintained. Smoked my first right out of the box light a I always do. Not bad little tight on the draw nice and dark with a nice hint of sweetness and some earth. Will let sit in the box for awhile. I'm sure with some time the full flavors will come out. Couldn't beat the deal CI was offering. Nice stick with coffee. Enjoy!!
Customer Testimonials
I got one of the 042's at the Big Smoke in Vegas back in November. I had not heard of the blend prior to the show. I smoked it when I got back home and discovered one of my new favorites. This smoke is extremely rich and full of complex flavors. It blew me away. I don't know why it has not received much press yet. Maybe because it is still pretty new but it is definitely one of the best smokes I have tried in a long time.
