Great smoke
The Log 7 X 70 are a great smoke for the costs. Besides, I like the band.

Great cigar if you like big cigars.

Da Log
Even though this cigar has a funky looking band and is priced so low, it remains a cigar that is rather enjoyable......for a long time. I have shared this cigar with my cigar mooching friends and they all approve. Aside from them getting a free cigar, it was agreed that The Log is a smooth smoking cigar that tends to be on the milder side of medium, has a good amount of smoke, decent taste and lasts for nearly an entire game. Gets a thumbs up from all of us. I'll be keeping a supply of these on hand for when I have guests and they just happen to have no cigars.

Damn good for price
I originally started buying the log as a novelty item but quickly discovered they are a damn good cigar. Especially for the low price. Tastes good and smokes easy at each size. Burns well too. This will be a mainstay in my humidor. My insurance says i dont have to claim being a smoker if i smoke 4 or less cigars a week....This helps lol

Appropriate name
Overall not a bad cigar. End loads a bit, but it is like smoking two churchills at once so it was a little expected. Hard to light with a match, I used a propane torch and it worked just fine. Most of these I have purchased have been for gifts but when the wife says I can have one cigar, you better believe the Log comes out!

big one
I took the 7x70 option and was impressed with its look. They are on sale for a while, so I expect they aged pretty well. I let it rest in my humi for 5 weeks. It started easy and smoked nice till the very end after 1.5h. Even burn, good draw, strong ash and descent taste – some nutmeg than coffee with amaretto scents, mild all way down. 1 of 7 arrived cracked at foot. Still nice and tasty LOG.

Feedback: The LOG
There's something to be said for 'girthy' cigars. I'd never smoked a 70-band before. I found it to be surprisingly mild, expecting a much stronger flavor, preferring a mild-medium smoke. A slow smoker, I probably would rank it in my top five on my favorites list, and will reorder in the future. Randy Reist CI Customer

Getting older "70" and enjoying life - to the last puff!
Great - I love these cigars. I also got some wood tipped swisher sweets for short walks but these big cigars are my favorite. Enjoy my long walks even in the cold with these cigars.

The Log
Not a bad smoke, the cigar was slightly set. The wrapper started coming apart about half way through smoking the cigar. Hopefully the rest are a little better.

It' a cigar, and a melee weapon!
A Cohiba, this ain't. But it's not a bad smoke at all. In fact, it's pretty tasty, and it's friggin' YUUUUUUUGE! This is one of those sticks that takes an hour and a half to burn. And it tastes good all the way down. I've bought a couple bundles of these, and I always keep some on hand just in case I want to have an excuse to sit outside for two hours.

Got these for a great bargain not knowing what to expect. Turned out to be a good smoke with a very even burn. Would certainly grab some of these again 👌🏿👌🏿

They are an ok smoke, even burn, no pepper, a lot of footy earthy tast

Good bang for the buck
This one seems to have the same problems as its big brother. Not the best tobacco, wrapper is very dry, and construction is basic to average. But for the price, its hard to not buy a bundle. I've enjoyed them at work as I can work outside mostly.

Can't beat the price, but...
You can't beat the price hands down. Its not the best constructed cigar, the wrapper seems to be very dry so I suggest you leave it in your humidor for a few weeks. Ash is flaky so be ready for that. Its a decent cheap cigar, good for working around the yard type of thing. The 5x70 seems to be much better for some reason.

Pretty good
Not a bad cigar for the price. Actually it is right up there with the more expensive ones. It is a good stick to light and just sit back and relax for about an hour and a half. Will definitely buy again.

Shocked
I must admit I was shocked by how much I enjoyed this smoke....I usually smoke cigars in the 54 to 60 ring gauge size so a guy i work with got these in a sampler but doesn't smoke large ring cigars so he gave them to me. I didn't expect much I thought for sure it would be bland and boring because of the amount of filler in this bad boy but man was I surprised ....this smoke delivers nice flavors of subtle spice and creaminess all the way down to the nub....it never got bitter or hot and burned razor sharp with a nice lite aroma....plan on spending 90 mins. With this log and at these prices this one is a steal ....stocking up on these as I write this.....thanks CI!!!!

Go with a Big Stick!
These things are so big, it takes two hands to lift them. I have really enjoyed these great tasting cigars. They are fun to smoke and people take notice. Everyone wants to try one. All my buddies will have a ball smoking them on Thanksgiving.

Best value
This is a great everyday smoke. Is it refined? No, I wouldn't call it that. Does it have the best flavor? No, at least not in my opinion. But it has tremendous value. I love the big ring gauge and big draw. It lasts a long time and maintains consistent flavor. Construction is solid. It isn't beautiful but your friends will say "Wow" when they see this bad boy. Some people give me grief because I prefer larger ring gauge. Be prepared for the "Oh he's compensating for something" comments. Truth is I enjoy a cloud of smoke in my olfactory, especially when it has such a nice aroma. And I believe the large gauge creates a cooler temperature which allows the cigar to keep that consistent flavor. The Log is one of the best values on the market. Full of flavor, a joy to smoke, and over an hour of pleasure enjoying my cigar. What's not to like about that?

The Log
Absolutely love them. The size of the cigar was not overbearing as I had initially expected. It wound up being a fantastic smoke for the 1-1.5 hours of bliss that this cigar could provide me with.

Very Tasty
Not bad at all. I know some of you 'real' cigar smokers would never touch this, but I love it. Perfect for leaving in the ashtray while reading a lengthy few chapters. Never burned off, not too hot and very good. Definitely worth the money, which is not much at all.

Poor
These x cigars were horrible. They were dry and didn't draw at all. Very little flavor
5 out of 5
Log review
The Log is a decent quality mild cigar. It gives off a good amount of smoke with each puff that is toasty and nutty flavor. At first, it's actually almost too mild. Not much flavor at all, but after about 1/4 of the stick it really got good! The burn was mostly even. Overall a great cigar for the price. This is mostly a novelty cigar, in my opinion. Just too big for an every day smoke.
4 out of 5
For what you pay for them, not bad at all.
I am no "flavor expert", but there was not much to this cigar at all. It's definitely in the "yard 'gar" category. But it's still a good smoke for the price you pay, and I wouldn't mind keeping a small batch of these in my humis most of the time. For the price, at least worth a try.

A bigger taste
This is a good cigar. The only flaw was kept having to relight it more than once

NOT BAD, AND HERE'S A TIP
Being a lover of the larger ring cigars, I saw these at such a good price and figured, give it a shot, if they are terrible, they weren't expensive anyway. I was pleasantly surprised... the first one had some trouble with minor splitting at the foot and again, minor unrolling up top, but one day in my humidor AFTER taking them out of their plastic wrapper, totally fixed that... so, I will be ordering more, and guys, the secret to these is to remove the plastic and leave the band on as long as possible.

The Log 7x70
The Log 7x70 were on sale when I purchased them. A bundle of 7 for just under 20 bucks. I thought ok, what's going to be wrong with these? Ended up being a good tasting cigar, but a bit dry, which caused the wrapper at the end that I clipped to constantly flake off, leaving me to pick paper off my tongue & lips. Other then that annoyance, a rather decent cigar.

Love the Log!!!
I love big, thick cigars ... This filled the bill ... Great long-lasting smoke ... I usually like stronger cigars but I like the mildness of The Log ...

I like big ring gauge cigars. Saw these and gave them a try. They smoke like a cheap cigar and burn uneven.

Dry cigar
Cigars were dry when I received them, and burned a little hot and strong. I have not tried them since putting them in the humidor; hopefully they will be more moist. Price was right, but just not the cigar for me.

A little too dry
I let them rest in my humidor for month. Wrapper still cracked to the touch. They had a lot of smoke and the flavor was okay.would have gotten a better review if the wrapper wasn't so dry. I have some more to smoke at a later time, I hope I can get some moisture back into that wrapper.

No real complaint for the money but wouldn't get them again.

don't waste your money
don't expect much -- everyone has problems -- some with veins that burn straight line down, mostly uneven burns, constantly spitting bits out in your mouth -- i didn't give it a 1 star b/c i had 1 that was good out of the bundle.

The 1st was a DUD!!
Now, I only smoked 1 out of 5 so far, but the 1st was a complete dud. It lit good, burned evenly, but it produced very little smoke while stoking it. I have never had a cigar produce that little smoke. The taste was nearly non-existent as well. Maybe the next one will be better. I hope so......otherwise, it's back to paying a premium price on the Asylum 13 for my golf trips.

This is the epitome of STOGIE!
This is a Dominican stick, that is a surprising hidden gem in my book. This is NOT a gimmick cigar. Jochy Blanco has rolled a ‘Cuban Sandwich’ with a dark Sumatra wrapper. The draw is smooth and easy, while the gray woven ash can hold a good 2-3” before having to be gently brushed off. This has notes of coffee, sweet cedar, black pepper, and earth. Make sure you have at least 2 hours for this great stick!

Surprised
Bought The Log on a whim, don't usually go for a giant ring size. I was surprised by the mild flavor and smokability. A little dry upon arrival so put them in the humidor first. Will keep some on hand.

Great stick for the price!!!
I liked everything about The Log. If I had anything to say bad it might be that a couple of them got a little messy when I got down to the end. I will definitely order these again.

Tried them for the price.
Tried them for the price. Med-bold smoke that mixes nice with a morning Irish coffee on the golf course
1 out of 5
Sucks
Maybe one of the cheapest made cigars ever. I buy seconds that smoke better than these. Everyone in the 7 pack has burned uneven, and 2 so far have snaked down the side and we're throw aways. After 15 min you are spitting out seed. Never again.

Not Recomended.
NOT RECOMENDED. I love CigarsInternational, but I have to be honest. This cigar is a real strike out. It completely unwraps after the 1st inch or so. I have a couple different humidors that I purchased from CI and I have tried varied humidity levels but these are just not smokable. I am dumbfounded about all of the good reviews on this particular cigar. There ARE some very good big ring size cigars available from CI, at excellent prices This is just not one of them.

Great price! If you like large ring gauge cigars the Log is a tremendous choice. The 7 x 70 will keep you going for at least an hour. It's a decent smoke and for the price makes it a winner. Try it and see for yourself.

Nice novelty gift and good conversation starter....one does look a little silly actually smoking it!!!! Flavor is good and it lasts for quite a while.

Good
I got these as a Christmas present for a buddy. When he was having one, he let me try it. I was surprised by how mild it was, in addition to how quickly it burned. He got done with it about the same time I did, despite having a more normal sized cigars. I think they are a fun novelty, and aren't a bad cigar. Good price as well.
5 out of 5
A best-value cigar
I love a cigar with a huge draw. The Log is just such a smoke. It is not refined but it is good. The flavor is enough to hold interest but not too intense. Call it interesting and approachable. Construction has been very consistent. I am amazed to find a cigar with so many great qualities at such a reasonable price. A cigar of this size may not be your daily smoke, but I know it will continue to be in my starting rotation!
4 out of 5
Hard to Find a Better 70 Gauge
I purchased the "Tree" (7x70). It's an all-around good smoke. For it's price, you can't really find a better 70 gauge habano. The taste is good and not overpowering at all. The draw is also great. I would have given this cigar 5 out of 5 if only the leaf didn't peal as much. Licking the leaf before cutting and lighting helped. If you order it, keep it in your humidor a few weeks before lighting it up.

Disappointed
I typically like a 6x60 cigar size and thought the big 70 ring would be cool to try out. They were a little dry, didn't burn even and had to re-light a few times. There was almost zero flavor to these. A cool stick due to the size but not an enjoyable smoke. I wouldn't buy again.

Log Review
Good draw, even burn. I find the 70 ring is just a little too large to smoke...start making the LOG in a 60 ring and I will be back for more.

Not a bad smoke for a novelty
I purchased these just for the novelty of such a huge cigar. I've smoked two of them so far and have been pleased with the experience. Flavor is mild to medium and fairly pleasant, although nothing complex or noteworthy. Construction was a little inconsistent on the two I've had so far. One was put together pretty well, burned evenly and felt uniformly firm. The other seemed a little more sloppily put together, felt a little soft in places, and didn't burn so evenly (required a few touch-ups with the lighter). But it was still a pleasant smoke, although I admit I'm easy to please. These are fairly inexpensive so I think they're a good value.
4 out of 5
Nice surprise.
I was very pleasantly surprised by this huge ring cigar. The flavor was exceptional with a sweet finish. Construction held up very nicely which was surprising for a 70 ring. When turning a friend on to this smoke I used the analogy of a great sporting event that gets better with each passing quarter and by the end you're hoping for an overtime. Take your time and enjoy!

Bought as a joke.
I figured that neither fishing buddy had seen anything like it, so I bought a bundle. Just because. These monsters are hard to smoke, but I normally don't smoke anything bigger that a Robusto 5X50 so it could have been me. The most I could smoke was about half, it seemed to me to be way to much work keeping it lit and it canoed quite a bit. Fun as a joke, but not a real good smoke.

The Log is so so
It's not bad by any means it was just nothing special. I also thought such a big cigar would last longer. I touhght it was fine but would probably order something else in the future.

I have no problems with your establishment. I have had some very bad experiences with other sellers, suffice it to say that I (WILL) do not deal with any others. I enjoy your fair price and excellent service. I trust you........

The ring gauge is wider than you think
Got these as a novelty, and they are that. Otherwise they smoke like a ghurka and burn about as evenly. I wouldn't recommend them unless you want something for a party or gag, etc.
Customer Testimonials
I gave three of my serious cigar friends a Log to smoke. All of them liked it and I did also. I just ordered the 7" Log. A very long smooth cigar smoking pleasure! You really can't beat the price. Try it!
Amazing cigars.
I just smoked one of these "LOGS" (5X70) and I have to say I enjoyed it. It only sat in my humidor for two days and I couldn't resist. I had to try one. It is a SOLID SMOKE!!! It was easy to light and the smoke just rolled off the cigar like a champ. The flavor was a bit bland, but I think it's a great cigar. The price is not bad either.
Impeccable construction. I tried one the day I got it, which was a little risky, but it performed very well without any time in the humi. I get a little bit of coffee, chocolate, and earth, but there's a strange medicinal-like finish that I can't quite place. Still, a very enjoyable smoke at bargain basement prices. Definitely use a punch cutter!
I was happy with this cigar. It smoked and tasted great. I got it more for a gag than anything else, but I enjoyed the smoke.
A huge cigar with a great taste. This flew under the radar but I got The Log and it is good to the last drop. I ordered more for my stash in the humidor. It's real good.
These are some BIG and long lasting gems! Wow they are good, but you must use a punch to get the best out of them. If you have 2 1/2 + hours and some pocket change, get yourself some of these.
I picked up a mazo of "Stumps" 5x70 on special as a novelty to share with fellow herfers as I am not a huge fan of big ring smokes. These sat in my humi for a good 6mos before I got around to smoking one with a buddy. The wrapper has a nice dark fermented Sumatra color and pleasant pre-light aroma, but it did have some minor cracks @ the foot, not that big a deal. These, as with most large ring smokes I have encountered, should be handled delicately. I punch-cut mine, as I thought the guillotine might destroy the wrapper, and had no issues. Draw was excellent, lit up easily, burned sharp, had plumes of smoke, but not a lot of flavor. Ash was tree trunk firm and held on for 2.5inches, I even snapped a pic @the 1/2 way point before I knocked off the ash which landed with a thud. In the second half the wrapper had some minor heat splitting, but burned through cleanly. Flavor never developed any better, but not any worse either until the last 1.5in when it did get a little harsh. Overall, not too bad a smoke for the price, and a cool conversation piece. I will add though, that my buddy's stick did unravel with about 2.5in to go and he retired it with 2in remaining, maybe because he was a little ham-handed.
An absolute pleasure to smoke from start to finish. I couldn't help but share with friends, and we all agreed this cigar is worthy of future purchases! Flavor and burn were perfection, and I could not put it down. The best 90 minutes I've experienced yet. Well done!
5 out of 5 stars! I was shocked how great this cigar was. I purchased some stumps to try out. The cigar was smooth and smoked easily. I could taste earth, oak and a hint of coffee. By far one of my favorite cigars. I would definitely recommend this cigar.
Wow, read some of the reviews here and find it hard to believe no one else loved these as much as I do. In our cigar club, we usually enjoy full flavored stogies like, Diesels, Genesis, 5 Vegas maduros and these LOGs can be placed right up there with the very best. These smokes were the bomb. Listed as a medium to full flavor, it should be redefined as "full-flavored" as these sticks pack a punch, no doubt. Albeit, hokey packaging (with the lumberjack on the band) but what did you expect with a 70G cigar? It's like sticking a magllight in your mouth! Smooth, silky robust flavor with hints of chocolate and coffee, yet with subtle earthy notes. The construction of the cigars are well worth noting as with its girthy ring, the cigar burns evenly...to the very last centimeter. I suggest this cigar, and maybe will get hmmmm and hawwws from other reviewers when I say, these babies will smoke NUBS any day. Look, for $25, you get 7 cigars...how can you lose? You have to try these LOGS to believe it!
If it were any bigger in girth, it would be like smoking a softball! It is a fair smoke and it burns well. At least it isn't coming apart when I smoke it. 5x70 yielded an hour of watching a storm roll in and the smoke no extra drama, and for that I am glad. I might buy some more, if the show back up I on MMAO!
no flavor whatsoever, great construction , great smoke out put but no flavor
....no real flavor.... when i punched the cigar it cracked a inch long down the side , then tried to cut that off and the whole cigar cracked....
Absolutely love this cigar. Great smoke from start to finish. Just picked up more
Just had one of these, didnt even let it rest. Great!! hint of chocolate and earth on lite up. Coffee and wood during..NOT harsh at all very smooth. Easy draw, tons of thick smoke, A cool smoke all the way thorough, I never put it down. Ash held to about half way, Puffed it down to around 2" or a bit less before it got a bit stong with tar. Love big ring sticks, this one is a winner and very reasonable thanks to CI !
