The book is fantastic. I’ve learned a lot over the several years of smoking cigars. I’ve learned even more from this book the loan. It covers all history of tobacco and cigar smoking dating back to the ancient times to the modern day cigar we have today. This is an absolute perfect gift for any beginner or experienced smoker.

Great legacy item
I am 80 years old and I recently bought 4 copies of this book to leave to each of my 4 children as a remembrance of me...their father. Sometimes we take for granted how our children view us, but I know that in the future when they have occasion to leaf through this book it will bring back pleasant memories. I had been searching for many years for just the right memento...and I think this is it. Yes...there will be other things, but in my reclining years a good cigar, a good book and a favored beverage, have become great companions for me...and they have shared that time with me.

Awesome Book
This is a significant book both in size and weight and content. Tremendous amount of pictures adds to the written dialogue. The pictures really give you a sense of everything that is involved from start to finish in making a cigar. Overall a great book at an even greater price. If you didn’t buy this book at the sale price the regular price is still a bargain.

Love it!
I'm only about 25% of the way through it, and I've read several books about the history, construction, and "life" of a cigar; however, this book stands above the rest strictly because of the richness brought by photographs provided.
