A cigar you’ll be dreaming about
Tatuaje Krueger is the 9th entry into the Tatuaje Monster Series. And the fact that this brand has stuck around yearly for nearly a decade in order to get to entry #9 should tell you pretty immediately that it’s good. Every year Pete Johnson releases a new blend around a classic “monster” movie, and this year’s blend is a tribute to some guy who used to live on Elm Street. Nightmare inducing this one is not — instead you’ll find a handmade that’s all treat and no trick.
Cut the foot and take a draw off this stick and you’ll quickly realize this stick is an awesome combo of rustic and refined. The band is simple and old-school, the oily, toothy wrapper show tradition and skill. Light it and you’ll be greeted by a mixture of sweetness, pepper, bready notes, and a core of earth and leather. Nicaraguan long-fillers and a San Andres maduro wrapper are on their best foot here, so make sure you give this one a shot.
