Much like the McRib, the Riqueza is back again!
The Riqueza was originally a regular production cigar in Tatuaje's portfolio, but in 2017, it seemed all was lost when they disappeared from the shelves of lounges across America. In 2022, signs of life appeared when Pete Johnson announced he was bringing the Riqueza back for a limited time, and that was the last we saw of this boutique beauty... until today!
The Tatuaje La Riqueza SE 2024 comes in two different wrappers, a Connecticut Broadleaf and a Mexican San Andres, dubbed the Tuxtla. The binder and long-fillers come from good ol' Nicaragua, and if you've had the original, you'll recognize that the 2024 release is a bit stronger comparatively. Both cigars have incredible depth of flavor, and have a solid core of earth, leather, and pepper, while each brings unique flavors coming from the toothy wrapper leaves.
