Could not be more dissatisfied with these cutters. I bought them to keep in several areas that I smoke and they are dull, and do not cut clean at all.
Cuts (10) times better than that plastic cutter I had. Feels tough and manly too. I thought it was worth the price I paid.
i have had mine (Stackhouse Guillotine Cutter) for over a year now and it still cuts great! I usaully smoke 60 rings and it still cuts just the right amount of the cap off. I love it and will buy more if need be.
Not a very good cutter. My $3 plastic one works better. The blades are not very sharp and instead of cutting, it pinches and tears.
the worse cutter that i ever saw, very insubstantial, and the entire price is supposed to be 20$? do not pay more than one dollar at the store. one made with the plastic material it could be better.

Decent cutter- Purchased this as a gift to go with a humidor and other "get-started" types of stuff for a new cigar smoker.. I didn't want to give him a plastic cutter nor did I want to spend a large part of the gift budget on a cutter, so this one was perfect.

You pay for what you get. In this case, you get more than what you pay for. This is a solid, sharp cutter that comes in a soft leather like pouch. Its worth more than the price tag.
It is a good starter cutter. It gives a nice, clean cut, but it won't handle the largest cigars. A lot of others say it will do up to a 52 gauge, and that sounds about right. For the price, you can't do better.

This is a great cutter. I wanted a cutter to use on my figurado cigars as I use a punch for the robusto types. This cutter was inexpensive and very sharp. Everything I need and could have hoped for. Great product!
The blades are pretty sharp, and, as others have noted, this will go to a 52 ring gauge. The fake leather pouch that this came in ripped on mine when I was trying to unsnap it...not that that has anything to do with the cutter, but I find it annoying that it's ripped open. Otherwise, yes: this gets the job done pretty well. It's nothing to write home about, but for the price, this is probably the best double guillotine available.
good cutter at a good price. it should be noted that it handles up to a 52 ring gauge...luckily my biggest smoke right now is a 52.
Once again the mighty CI comes to my rescue.I needed a good cutter that didn't cost a lot of money,and would still get the job done,and I have found it!Ordered this with a bundle of cigars,and I was almost as excited about this cutter as I was the cigars that came in the box with it.Good clean cut,and looks good too.Very well constructed,and heavy in the hand.(This thing cuts better than my Father-in-Laws Xikar).As always CI got it to me in a hurry.If a good cutter is what you need trust CI to take care of you,and buy this,Them caps don't stand a chance!
