Schizo Maduro

The dark side of Schizo.

Since its initial release the Schizo line, from the brains behind Asylum cigars, has raised a ruckus for being absurdly affordable and downright delicious. This top-selling brand was missing something though, the yin to its yang, and with the new Schizo Maduro the picture is now complete.

Schizo Maduro is made at the El Aladino factory in Honduras and features a San Andres wrapper over Honduran fillers. This blend is Cuban sandwich, meaning it’s a combination of long and short filler, but you won’t notice as this cigar has top-notch construction and releases clouds of pleasing aromas. The stick is medium-bodied and has flavors of chocolate, spice, earth, pepper, and wood making this a perfect budget-friendly blend to add to your everyday rotation.

Schizo Maduro Toro simply.......
Wow, I am a cigar novice myself but have had many top brands since I have started. These schizo maduros were fantastic. Enough in fact that I plan on ordering anothet couple bundles to set me back a while. I would not plan on letting these age, but rather smoke em straight away and keep room in my aging humidor for a sampling of premium cigars. These on the other hand will quite possible become my everyday smoke. The cigars themselves burned like a full filler and tasted great as well. The construction was also superb. Not a 5 star rating but a great cigar non the less.

A fine everyday cigar.
The price makes the Schizo an everyday cigar, and as such is one of the best choices you can make. If it weren't the holidays I'd buy 3 or 4 bundles.

Great cigar for a great price
Excellent flavor, surprising price.

Fair cigar, kinda dry and several of them did the chimney when ppuffing.
I found the cigar to have a pleasant taste and finish but several seemed either too dry or stiff - like smoking a half inch wooden dowel. I also noticed that some of the cigars burned uneven along the wrapper. I don't think I will purchase this brand again.

Great cigar, better price!
This is my daily smoker. I absolutely love the Schizo line from Asylum. Very rarely have I had any issues with any of the line and the Maduro is no exception! Medium to full body cigar with notes of leather and espresso throughout the entire smoke.

Decent taste, but poorly made.
Not bad tasting for a massed produced bundled smoke. Strong on spice & pepper. Good for mowing on the tractor. Just sub-par construction; loosely rolled and super thin wrapper make for a uneven burn that falls apart. I can barely make a Churchhill last 30-40minutes. The Asylum Schizo with the Habano wrapper is a better made & tasting cigar...or at least I hope they still are.

Solid cigar for the money
Not the best, far from the worst...wish I could give 3.5 stars. Good spice, little bitter at the back end. Not a bad smoke.

Uneven Burn. Flaky wrapper
You get what you pay for so I'm not to upset. Just wish the wrapper held up nicely and the burn was even

For The Money....A Pleasurable Little Smoke
You won't be disappointed and you won't break the bank smoking these little charmers. The burn at times is a bit uneven, but not a deal-breaker. Smooth taste and not too overpowering. Go ahead be a 21st Century Schizo Man (or Lady).

OK for a everyday smoke. Definitely not premium cigar

Too Loose
Although these have a good taste, they are rolled too loose and I get to smoke only about half a cigar before they fall apart. I would not buy these again.

great price great smoke.
These cigars are a mid grade strength,if you smoke mild cigars these may be to much for you. When at work I have a mild low grade in my face but at days end these maduros are what i like to wind down with. The high price maduros are for special times.schizo & bahia maduro are my everyday goto.for quality over quantity.

Great cigar for everyday.
I like these in the plain Schizo better the maduro is kind of weak but still a good cigar .I have never had burn issue but I always put them in a Humidor for two weeks or more when I get them. Can't beat these for the price I always use a punch cutter.

Schizo Maddy Dbl Toro
Priced way too low but don't touch that price... One of the best low end smokes I've ever had... Creamy smooth with an excellent even burn... I clear my schedule so that I can enjoy one of these uninterrupted... Both of my Son's love these and have ordered "Their Own".... It'll be a regular around my place...

Very good surpise
Good everyday smoke. I was very surprised with the taste. Great draw, some subtle transitions and great smoke output. I will be buying a bundle soon.

Okay for the price
Mild for a Madura but flavor is unimpressive. Get a bad burner in every six to eight cigars

ARRIVED DRIED OUT
Not a bad stick fer the price. A bit heady. But, as the title said...they was dried out.

Adding to my rotation
Good-tasting value Maduro. Smokes fast. Can tell that it's made from scraps of expensive cigars, and I intend that as a compliment.

Bargain
These taste great! Even though they're mixed filler, you can taste the quality of the tobacco.

Give them a try!
I've smoke probably about 30 of these sticks over the past several months. They are always VERY tasty. Yes, they burn a little weird here and there and yes, they are packed a little loose. But just use a punch cutter or a V cutter and problem solved. You do that and they smoke perfectly. I've had a couple of them sitting in my humidor for about a month and a half now and I picked one up the other day and I swear the flavor was honestly a little bit better. Any way, they are priced right, you are basically getting leftover asylum tobacco, and they taste great. I have nothing bad to say about these.

This is by far the absolute worst cigar I've ever had.... period. Dutch Masters at the local gas station would be 10 times better. I'm by no way a cigar snob.... but these cigars are harsh an

Delicious budget cigar never fails to satisfy
Being a Frugal (cheap) maduro lover with not a lot of time on my hands, these Robustos jumped out at me. From the first to the last these never failed to impress, with good flavor and construction, these are a reliable, tasty smoke well within my budget and one of the first I reach for when I run out for a mid-day smoke at work. These are consistently on my reorder list.

Value champ!
WOW! There are absolutely delicious. I would call them "medium-to-full" rather than the listed "mild-to-medium." Construction not the best, burns fast, ring gauge seems less the advertised (I didn't measure), but the flavor...ahh, the flavor....
