A handsome devil. Or maybe that's just my reflection....heck, both!

Sam Leccia White is delivered to your hands sporting a glossy white band and box, it's quite snazzy mind you. But inside is no doubt where the smiles truly begin. Each cigar is crafted using a feisty African sun-grown wrapper, responsible for the sweet, cedary aspect (more on this later). Tucked just beneath this high-priming leaf, awaits an Ecuadorian binder along with a potent cocktail of long-fillers. Nicaraguan Ligero is paired with seco from the Dominican and Pennsylvania, adding strength as well as characteristics of coffee, earth and leather. Before you light it, do yourself a favor and sniff. Glorious. After lighting (here comes the part I spoke about before), the marrying of the filler and wrapper is spot on. A wonderful cedary sweetness joins forces with hearty, nutty, coffee-esque undertones before a dash of pepper enters the fray. The burn is even, the construction is top-notch, and the taste....well if I could give it a high-five I would. It's no doubt a charismatic sucker. And as they say, when you got it, flaunt it.

Medium/Heavy cigar great while fishing!
Nice tightly rolled, even burning medium/heavy cigar that I enjoy taking with me to the old fishing hole! Creamy smoke that smells as good as it tastes! I have enjoyed about 5 of these from a box purchase after letting them set in the humidor a couple of weeks. All 5 maintained their flavor consistency and burned evenly. I get frustrated with cigars that core out so an even burn is important to me.

Leccia White Robusto
I really like this cigar, everything about it, from the construction to the way it smokes-nice even burn. The flavor and the way it changes in 3rds reminds me of much more expensive cigars. These have become my go to everyday smoke.

First time trying Sam, and now a fan!
This was my first time smoking and purchasing Sam Leccia's White in the XO. It received some good reviews and CI was gracious enough to put it on a special, so I took advantage. This was a very nice smoke. It had a good draw and burned evenly and flawless. I did have 2, and only 2, that had some imperfections down at the foot, bit the rest were perfect. I really enjoyed the flavor and the aroma was great! It maintained it's flavor all the way to the nub, and never got hot or bitter. This was great buy and it has found it's way on to my favorites list.

Very well made. Nice Balance threw out. Hints of salty leather and a earthy taste. Will keep in my rotation.

I hope Sam keeps making these!
Cigars arrived dried out and I wasted one by lighting it dry but after a month in the humidor these have emerged as very tasty little smokes. It's a loose, airy roll so I like to use a punch cutter and smoke it kind of slow. Very nice draw this way and a unique sort of floral aroma to it. I think the Camaroon wrapper might be a somewhat brittle leaf by nature because even well humidified it seems a bit fragile. Maybe this is remaining damage from how dried out they were when I received them. Maybe they'd have even better characteristics had they been well maintained throughout but even re-humidified these are really nice.

My new favorite.
This is an excellent cigar. Cedar and spice, flavorful without becoming bitter or harsh. Easy draw, even burn - what more could you ask for? I am officially a Sam Leccia fan.

Sam Leccia White Toro
A beautifully constructed cigar medium-full body with a nice flavor and balance of spice/wood/leather and a little burned nut flavor come thru. A very good cigar bought a box 1/2 way through (will need another) and not one burn problem. Great Cigar!!!
Customer Testimonials
I am a relative noob to the art of fine cigar enjoyment. What got me into decent cigars, a couple of years ago, was my first exposure to a Baccarat Churchill. I've tried a few other smokes, but have always gone back to Baccarat. The other day a customer of mine really talked-up Cigars International and, on his advice, I did one of your incredibly good sampler deals. I've smoked about one and a quarter inches of the selection made by Sam Leccia and everything said in the product description--written by your excellent copywriting staff--is exactly accurate. This is one very tasty cigar with an easy draw that is probably why Mr. Leccia doesn't have to get all fancy with the band. Thanks for broadening my cigar enjoyment horizons. This stick is now about one-third smoked. I want to save the rest for tomorrow. It's that good. Merry Christmas to you all.
I had the pleasure of playing some music recently at a cigar event where Mr. L was featuring these fine cigars. I didn't light up that evening because I was singing a lot. Just lit up one of these whites tonight and must say I'm impressed with the seasoned flavor these provide. Great smoke as far as taste, burn, etc. great smoke. Mr. L knows his stuff. :-)
All I can say is, fantastic! I watched the clouds of thick smoke fade into the hight sky.
First of all I want to thank CI for the awesome service. I ordered these babies on a monday afternoon and received them on Wednesday morning and I live in Puerto Rico. My birthday gift on time. The cigar is mild to medium body, perfect for a morning smoke, which I'm doing. Full of cedary flavors, nuts, and a sweet aroma. Thanks CI.
I'm the luckiest guy in the world. My wife bought me 10 of these fine Leccia White cigars for our anniversary. I was hooked from the first puff. Wonderful myriad of flavors encircle the pallet. Beautiful burn, right down to the - wait for it - nub! The best new cigar I've experienced in the last couple years! This will be in my regular rotation.
I just had a Sam Leccia White and agree with CI's flavor description. I didn't get any peppery notes, and got a hint of sweet cocoa at the end. Well balanced and pleasant to of my new favorites. My only criticism would be the construction. The wrapper was loose and with Nub on Leccia's resume, I expected more. Good way out ways the bad. Will enjoy the other four I bought and will buy them again.
CI's description is spot on. The white looks good, tastes delightful, supplies copious clouds of smoke, and burns smoothly and straight. Some power along with smooth, but satisfying subtlety of flavor. What those flavors are, I couldn't tell you, but the taste and after taste have made this a new fav. And having met Mr. Leccia at a local event, he seems to be a great guy with a great passion for his craft. Kudos and keep 'em comin'!
