Tighter draw than I like. The connecticut wasn't for me. No creaminess. Lacked flavor; bittter softwood is all I really got. Habano and Maduro are both better options imo. Particularly, in the torpedo/belicoso vitolas. My favorite is the Habano. Despite my review of the Connecticut, I do think with enough rest all three could be quite nice. Catch them on sale and forget about 'em for a while.

Draw is always consistent, some touchups during the burn, but the tasty notes of cream,far out way that pairs great with bourbon, really pulls out the creamy notes. Bellows of thick smoke and all around great taste.

Pretty consistent roll and therefore burn. Smooth draw with a peppery note. One out of 5 you have to watch runs and burn off the outer wrapper. I find this fairly common with torpedo rolls so not necessarily a negative with this stick. Overall, I think this is a very good value at the price.

I bought the bundles of Room 101 Ichiban because they were almost dirt cheap, and I trust CI when they say something will make a great every-day smoke. But was I surprised! They have a great draw, as good as the "spendy-wendies". They light quickly across the whole end of the cigar, burn slowly and evenly, and don't go out when you leave them on the ash tray for a few minutes. lower cost cigars almost always are harder to light, don't burn evenly, and go out quickly. But most unexpected of all...they have a great taste. They are mild, as advertised, so may not be as appreciated by the "full body" folks as they are by me. But anyone who likes a mild cigar with great flavor, great draw, and a slow, even, burn at a great price will love them.
