Romeo y Julieta 1875 Cigarillos

A legendary brand, miniaturized!

Romeo y Julieta is a name every cigar smoker knows, no matter their location or experience level. A lot of us can say that one of our first cigars wore the famous Romeo y Julieta band, and they still proliferate in humidors all over the world. The most popular and most-awarded line from Romeo is the 1875, and for good reason! Excellent construction, flavorful Indonesian wrappers, and expertly blended Dominican fillers make for a great experience, but unfortunately, sometimes the amount of time you have isn't quite sufficient to enjoy a full stick. Now with the 1875 Cigarillos, that issue is a thing of the past. 4 different sizes to choose from, all full of the delicious flavors you know, and sized right for quick enjoyment. I already said they were very popular, but I'll say it again just to emphasize: These go quick, so stock up today!

These are perfect for when you are short on smoke time. Typical Romeo Y Julieta quality. Will order again.

Love these little bullys... quick taste of their bigger brothers when you only have 15-20 minutes. I'll get more!

Time to be tangential...
I've been purchasing cigars both in stores and through websites for a bit of time now. I've always found cigarsinternational.com to be the best fresh smoke quality for the lowest bottom dollar with the widest selection. My first order was small. Decent. I was new to the culture. I got annoyed that they kept sending a monthly catalog of specials. A guiding light hit me then. Give the catalog to someone who might order that month, even a stranger. My most recent purchase; 1875 Churchhill's, Po-boy Variety Pack, and a box of Julietas... well it tops the cake. As I sit here and write, I am enjoying a Duque. The value compares, the pull is better suited to my liking, but the mellowness does not compare to the rich flavor of the smaller "cigarello" Julieta 1875. It may be smaller in size. It may take some finger rolling to get the right pull... The Julieta was definitely the best of my most recent purchase, not to be humidored... still not sure if thats a word, but smoked as a hybrid of a cigarette and a fine cigar. Four stars because I am gaining the habit of finger rolling, "pinching", cigars that don't need it to attempt to gain what I have out of this Romeo. Maybe 4.5

Romeo y Julieta Bully Cigarillos
Great smoke when you short on time and want a full flavor from your cigar. Highly recommend - Won't disappoint

Good short smoke
Decent flavor for a small format. When it's cold or you're pressed for time, this cigar will satisfy needs. It's not as satisfying as a toro with the same "blend", but fills the need well.

The Julietas USED to be really nice.....
I have been buying these for years. When I first got "into them" as a quick little smoke they were fantastic. But for about the last year they have been tight - sometimes too tight to actually smoke. There was more than once when I bought a pack of 6 boxes (60 little cigars) and in each box only 4 or 5 were actually pleasant. At first I thought that Romeo y Julieta maybe was just having a challenge they needed to work out. But like I said: It's been over a year. If these don't get back to where they were I will stop ordering them. Oh, and the price went up even though the quality went down.

Quality is going downhill
This is my 2nd or 3rd batch of these (After buy a lot over the years) that have 1-3 bad cigars in a Pack. The manufacture process has some way to tight to draw on them. Sad.. These were one of my all-time favs.
4 out of 5
Smooth smoke
Good even burn. Mellow flavor. Some in the pack are rolled a bit tight and hard to draw, but overall can't complain.

Some days, on the golf course, having an enjoyable (smaller) cigar that doesn't take a long time or focus, these small sticks are perfect! Good draw and flavor.😎🏌️‍♂️🏌️‍♀️

Your favorite cigar on the go
The Petit Bullies in the trademark tins are an excellent little smoke while on the go. Ordering through CI saved me a lot of money versus the store I was normally buying these. Thanks CI!!!

Morning Cigar
I enjoy this cigar in the morning with my coffee sitting on the deck. Just the right size to prioritize my day.

Great taste when rolled properly
Rolled so tight and hard as a pencil you cannot draw. i buy them in bulk so they can spend time in a humidor. the last box of 60 i purchased over 10 cigars were not smokeable even after two weeks. This has been a problem for years. I love the size, taste and a long smoke when rolled correctly. Change the packaging and add a humidity mini pack if your not going to address the rolling process.

My favorite small cigar. It arrived with super-fast delivery!

Would taste sweeter if not for issues!
I usually love Romeo y Julieta but these cigars were a bit too small and seemed to be clogged toward the draw end of the cigar. However if you even poked a thing match in to get a better draw it split the end of the cigar. These will be avoided in the furure!

Perfect Size
It's hard to find a small smoke in the 38 ring size. These are the perfect size, and of course, they taste great!

Good smoke, bad construction.
It would have a been a good smoke if not for the construction.I purchased a six pack and all but one were rolled too tight to properly smoke. Two of the six had black spots all over them, at least it wasn't mold.My guess would be natural imperfections in the leaf. The smoke itself was good though, a light raisiny taste.

Nice, but....
These are nice little cigars, perfect for when you don’t have a lot of time to smoke. Taste great, but some of them draw as if they’re plugged.

Poor Draw
The robuto,s seem to have a poor draw. Hard to keep lit.

Hard. To draw, poor quality smoke for aa premium brand name. Don't bother.

Good Buy
These burn slow and even. Good, light taste for a small product. Somewhat comparable to the Cohiba, "Pequeños." Will buy again.

cigar for wine
due to a heart problem I have an 8 oz. glass of red wine every night and the R&J petit bully lasts for the 1 glass of wine. They smoke and taste great. I do NOT inhale the cigar and the humidor is at 69 or 70.
5 out of 5
Great cigar for that lunch break fix.
As bold and flavorful as a full size shrunk down for your convenience. I like that they come with a humid pack to keep them fresh. Great value in a easy carry to go tin.

R J petit bully
I love R J cigars and got these for a short smoke. They are rolled so tight they wont draw. many have been thrown away because they wont stay lit. I won't be buying them again.

Among the finest small cigars, but small cigars are rolled inconsistently. A few in a case do not smoke well.

Good smoke
I buy these on a regular basis. The last order was a little hard on draw. So 3 out of 5. Otherwise a 4.5 would be a giid score

Not ordering again
So far it was disappointing that this good brand made this little cigar that are mostly hard to draw smoke. I have tried to tap and used a long pick to loosen them before cutting the tip but still the draws are hard. I'll probably throw them out because they got me so frustrated.

Good little cigars
For there size they have great flavor. Only two have plugged up on me out of the whole bunch. Happy with these smokes especially in the winter when all you have time for without freezing is about 20 minutes. Good choice for smaller cigar smoking.

Romeo y Julieta 1875 Petit
Very much enjoyed and for a small cigar I would have given 5 stars however, 1 or 2 cigars in each tin were rolled too tight and would not draw even with running a wire through. Otherwise a great smoke.
4 out of 5
Nice little smoke
I was looking for something a little more robust than a decent cigarillo when I'm outside in the fall doing yard work. These R&Js are decent little smoke, well rounded, good pull and burn. Value for the dollar
4 out of 5
Overall a good value, but...
I bought a brick of 30 and one of the tins of 6 were so tightly rolled they were almost unsmokable. They must put the beginners on these before graduating them to the larger corona's :-). With that said, i've had the same issue with Cohiba Red Dot Pequenos. Overall these 1875's have good taste and when rolled correctly they're an awesome value.
5 out of 5
Surprisingly good
I'm not a fan of small cigars, but I do love the R&J 1875, so with the weather getting colder last year I tried these for a quick smoke. I was pleasantly surprised! Flavor was good, and the burn was amazingly slow for a cigar of that size. I usually get 25-30 minutes from one of these.
2 out of 5
Bad Draw
about half had a very hard draw. So frustrating when you're going for a quick smoke.
4 out of 5
good but not great
these little sticks are very good for the most part, however, they are held back by an inconsistent draw. To many of these were very tight. otherwise a very nice smoke

Great cigar
RYJ 1875 is my primary cigar. My favorite is the double corona size. it's always consistent in burn and taste. I also like the little cigars that come 6 in a tin. the only challenge with those is 60 - 70% of the cigars are rolled so tight you cannot draw. Other than that RYJ all the way!

Very satisfied w/ Petit Bullies
I just ordered two more tins. Really nice 30-min smoke. Great at lunch. Flavor and smoke are good. Very consistent. I like the Boveda pack - I can leave the tin in my backpack. Small but real cigars, with RJ flavor and quality.

Suitable replacement
I am unable to get my hands on the Nica Libre Contras (much sadness). However the Romeo y Julieta 1875 Petit Bully has filled that niche quite nicely. A good little stick when you don’t have the time for a full size lunker

His favorite
My husband has actively tried to find a favorite cigar since I met him 8 yrs ago. I bought many, many samplers over the years from CI and he finally found it: RyJ 1875. The flavor, the draw, it has body but still a hint of sweetness...a great every day cigar
5 out of 5
great cigars for a short smoke
the cigars are great for a short smoke and come in tins with humidity packets so they stay fresh.
2 out of 5
Poor Draw
High quality tobacco with poor quality construction. Perhaps the Boveda packs in the tins kept the cigarillos too damp...but, even after dry-boxing, the cigars refuse to draw properly. A real disappointment.
5 out of 5
Great little smoke
Good when the weather is bad and you need a quick quality smoke.
3 out of 5
Tasty Short Smoke
The Romeos are tasty short smokes, nice for a quicker smoke. The down side is that being machine made they sometimes have plugs or tight spots that block the draw. This is remedied easily enough with a straightened paperclip but still a hassle. Worth the money though.

Petit bully perfect stick for short smoke
I had smoked these a few time before and enjoyed them, so I ordered a few bricks of the petit bully's for my wedding reception guests to keep in a humidor at the bar, and they were a huge success. Now a few months later I am still being asked what cigar that was, and where I can get them. I also always keep a few tins worth of these in the petit bully size in my humidor for a short smoke. One of my favorite cigars.

Great cigar
Great cigar. Has great aromas and taste which get better as you smoke it. I take this sucker down to the nub lol. Sweet vanilla and chocolate notes towards the middle to end. Draw is perfect. Construction is good as well. One of my favorites.

Overall a really nice cigar. Perfect for wanting a great smoke when you don't have a lot of time. The only complaint is the inconsistency in the rolling. At least one in ten are rolled so tight that they are difficult to smoke.

A new favorite!
I've never been a fan of small cigars, but I love the R&J Bully and decided to take a gamble on these. With cold weather and shorter days coming on, I thought a "short smoke" would make sense. I was amazed! These have all the flavor of the full size, and they burn for over a half hour. My only reservation is that they are a very tight draw.

When you want one and don't have too much time.
Tasty, good little quick smoke (15-20 mins). Just enough there for when you don't have a lot of time to relax and really enjoy your number 1 cigar. This one will carry you over until you can.

Perfect cigarillo
Absolutely delicious, and comes in a humidified tin. Great deal for a short 20 minute smoke and has all of the bang of the regular R&J 1875s. Would buy again!

R J Bully
I buy these for my wife and she luvs R J smokes. Latest purchase was the R J mega sampler (she likes the 40-44 ring) and she commented "these are my new favorite, better than Mac" What more can be said. Good draw, tasty and can smoke till your fingers get burnted without bad taste.
