Romeo 505 Nicaragua

Call 505 for Nicaragua

A one-hit wonder is impressive. A dynasty is in a league of its own. And at this point, it’d be hard to call Romeo y Julieta anything other than a “dynasty” brand. Seriously, take a look at this list, RyJ’s got it all — Cuban roots. Amazing, smooth blends. Recent, full-bodied successes. And now, a Nicaraguan puro from Nicaragua. That’s right, this is what you’ve all been waiting for.

Now listen, I know you’re not supposed to judge a book by its cover, but sometimes you can’t help yourself. And Romeo 505 Nicaragua clearly comes dressed to impress. A gorgeous Habano seed wrapper is expertly box-pressed over Nicaraguan binder and filler. Chow down on this treat and you’ll find a full-bodied mixture of earth, coffee, spice, and slight nuttiness. After a few of these, you’ll realize why everyone’s calling it one of the best Romeos around.

Good news, Romeo 505 Nicaragua has recently received a well-deserved 91-rating, noting: "A gorgeous Churchill wrapped in a dark, oily cover leaf. The sweet, cedary smoke also shows savory notes of leather with hints of roasted nuts and black pepper."

Awesome cigar
This is one of my favorite cigars to smoke, I've ordered this brand a few times already and will do it again. I had one of my good friends try it and he also raved about the cigar.

Romoeo 505 Nicaragua
A full body out of this world, smooth yet you feel it, great smoke but decent flavor I would only recommend it to veteran full body smokers

Killer smoke
Never been a huge ryj fan, never disliked them either, but these knocked my socks off. Near perfect construction burn and draw great med flavor body and strength all the way through maybe even a lil better then medium. Classic nica puro flavor profile with a characteristic I just can't put my finger on, simply a killer smoke

Outstanding Smoke
From the first puff to the last, this is one amazing stick. The tobacco artisans from Romeo have created a masterpiece. True to it’s name, the 505 Nicaragua Torpedo has a bold, almost earthy-sweet flavor. Well done.

Another great Romeo!
I picked up two 5-packs of these beauts during a Black Friday sale and so glad I did! The flavor explosion alone is worth trying these cigars. I can’t recommend these enough!!

Enjoyed the rich flavor and sent a 5-pack to my cousin as a holiday trip gift to enjoy on the golf courses in Arizona

Stronger than expected.
Actually more like 3.5 out of 5. A good cigar. Much stronger than I expected. Syrupy mouth feel to the smoke. Pepper on the back of the throats that lingers. Flavors of wood and raisin. Noticeable nicotine. This cigar reminds me of Joya de Nicaragua Antano in both flavor and strength. Not a good choice for new cigar smokers. Construction and burn were good, but delights were necessary in the final third.

I am s big fan
I am s big fan of the Romeo Romeo. Although the 505 was a good cigar, I was a little disappointed. It had a bitter aftertaste on my pallet. La Aroma de Cuba is my favorite and standard for me. I love the Nicaraguan blends med-strong with great taste. So I’ll stick with the Romeo Romeo for now. Super thrilled you are carrying them. You guys are definitely my ‘go to’ suppliers.

Excellent
I'm a fan of full-bodied Nicaraguan puros, and this one is as good as any (with the possible exception of the Oliva V.)

Mostly decent.
A very strong cigar. Not the most even burn but overall a decent cigar.

great full smoke...
Nice full cigar, noticed the second one was better than the first. Maybe because it had 2 weeks of humidor time, so I suggest that. The burn and draw were great, not too loose but not tight. Flavor definitely packed a nice punch but they were nice and complex. Definitely got smoother every 3rd. Definitely enjoyed it, but if you stay in the mild to medium range it probably isn't for you.
