Rocky Patel might be based in Honduras, but they possess mastery of all types of tobacco. Most connoisseurs know that some of the richest, most flavorful leaf in the world is grown in the black volcanic soils of Nicaragua, due to a high concentration of nutrients not found in any other country. Combine this amazing tobacco with some of the best Honduran leaves available, and you have the base for the newest phenomenal blend from Rocky Patel.

Weighing in at a smooth medium-body, the blend starts with fillers grown in Condega and Esteli Nicaragua on Patel’s own farms. A heavy ligero from the Jamastran Valley in Honduras is added for character, and it’s all tied together with a gorgeous Ecuador Connecticut wrapper. Actually got this in a COTM Club, didn't have big expectations, except that it would be a good stick. Well, I don't often smoke to the nub but this one turned into an ash-bearing meat ball. Perhaps one of the BEST smokes I've had in years. Remarkable draw, aroma and next-day linger. I can see why this one is going fast.

I bought these at the 2019 Rocky Mountain Cigar Festival after Rocky Patel himself convince me to buy them as they were just being released. I let them age over an entire year in my humidor. I smoked one in October and one today 12/04/2020 of these babies and they're are a very tasty sick. With mild flavors of coffee, oak and leather, but again it's just my taste buds. They burn even with a nice solid light gray ash producing a good amount of smoke. I highly recommend them and I will order more when I start running low.
