Five generations of tobacco knowledge embodied.
In Manuel ‘Manolo’ Quesada Jr’s. newest creation, old meets young, tradition meets new-age, and refinement meets flavor. Quesada Reserva Privada pays homage to the 5 generations of the Quesada family that led to where they are today, with bold, modern packaging that looks toward the future. Utilizing tobaccos cultivated before Manuel Sr. passed away 18 years ago, a crop that was even in height when cut which results in the nutrients being spread evenly throughout the plants, consistency is a sure bet, and flavor is top-notch. Without further ado, welcome Quesada Reserva Privada.
Featuring a silky-smooth Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper leaf, Reserva Privada sets the stage for deliciousness from the get-go. Underneath, a Dominican Criollo binder harvested in 1997 hugs long leaf ligeros from Pennsylvania and San Vicente (Dominican). A tasty buffet of nuances including pepper, wood, and a rich sweetness culminate a cool and long finish. Mellow to medium in body, Manolo delivers a blend as rich as his family’s history in the business, and worthy of representing it. Don’t miss the boat on these gems.
Quesada Reserva Privada received a well-deserve 92-rating noting: "This blonde corona gorda has a great draw and a wavy burn that corrects itself. Rich, creamy smoke blossoms on the palate to show orange peel and toasted almond."
