Quesada Q D'Etat

Q D’Etat is back baby!

Quesada released their Q D’Etat line in 2012 and sadly was one of the first brands to get hit by the man in the cigar industry. Now you can do your happy dance because Q D’Etat is being rereleased in limited quantities. Available in three vitolas: Molitov a 5 inch figurado, Howitzer a 6X60 Gordo, and Daga a 7X54 Salomon. Treat yourself to the Molitov and Howitzer Dominican puros, or try something different with Daga featuring Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers and an Ecuadorian Arapiraca wrapper. Grab these limited gems before they sell out.

Good news, Q D'Etat has received an awesome 91-point rating, noting: "Huge and dark, this cigar burns evenly and draws well, offering heavy earthy notes of leather, salted nuts and toast before a touch of caramel on the finish."

Good looking
Liked the way these looked when they arrived, very pretty color construction and shape, for me however the taste is most important ,and my palate is not a fan.....did not think they were as flavorful as the description led me to believe. Usually CI's description is very close to my palate , unfortunately not this time. Glad they were on special, can't wait to give em away.

Good quick smoke. Nothing extra special in my humble opinion but I did enjoy them as they burned well and have a smooth draw.

Good not great
These have a good medium body flavor. Keep a lighter handy because they don't stay lit very well. I'd buy them again at the price I paid.

Great Quesada Blend
The flavor is prominent baking spices with a woody undertone. Beautifully balanced cigar. Manuel Quesada deserves his reputation as a master blender.

Quesadilla Q D’ete Molotov
This was a nice cigar;nice dark wrapper, even burn, lots of smoke. Flavor was earthy, but a bit dull. Nowhere near as strong as advertised, IMO. Got them in a sampler, probably the only way I’ll get them again.

What can i Say
These sticks are great, great aroma, and construction. The burn was amazing I had a 4 inch ash on one. The rest held the ash great. I would definitely recommend this stick to somebody.

Doesn't deliver
First off, I'm not a fan of the double figurado, but, picked up a 5 pack when they were on sale to try. This cigar was plagued with burn issues that required several relights...even though they had been in my humidor a couple of weeks. The flavors were dark with nuances of espresso, nuts and wood, however, they never really melded together and the overall impression was a bitter smoke.

Not a bad smoke8
Quesdada is a solid brand. Like the price point and the Oktoberfest is a pretty good comparison. Hoping for something a little more creamy but it had a good burn and solid construction.
