Peter Stokkebye 35 Champagne Pipe Tobacco

Description

Peter Stokkebye Champagne Pipe tobacco is a very unique blend consisting of Virginia tobaccos mixed with Mexican Burleys and 2 different cuts of Black Cavendish. These tobaccos have been gently influenced by a subtle hint of French berries to create a mellow-tasting smoke that's crisp, clean, sweet, and loaded with flavor. Perfect for any time of day, this classic Danish tobacco is a must-try.

Occasional smokey aroma and taste. But leaves a tongue coating/feeling AFTER you smoke it even after 24 hours. But I do smoke a couple of bowls in a row. Smokes slightly hot.

This was a fairly pleasant tobacco, but not as I expected from whati is advertised. Champagne is a neat name, but don’t look for it in this tobacco, but there is a very slight hint of fruit on the back end, along with a bit of spice, probably from the Virginia. I’m a Burley fan, and you can definitely taste the earthy, wood notes. To me it seems like nearly a 50/50 blend of Virginia and Burley. The Cavendish is nearly undetectable, but there is barely a hint of Vanilla. This tobacco reminds me of PS Black Coffee. This is on the border line of a non-aromatic. For me, I mix it with Lane RLP for a more pleasant smoke. I will buy again when I want a tabacco with a mild amount casing.
