G.A.R. Opium by George Rico

Not that kind of Opium, bro!

Introducing the new G.A.R. Opium by George Rico - a limited-edition release from one of the most creative minds in the industry. The name may throw you for a loop, but rest assured the cigars are legit and completely legal. Hailing from George Rico's boutique factory in Honduras, each Opium comes packed with rich, savory tobaccos. At play is a reddish brown Nicaraguan Habano Corojo hybrid wrapper, boasting an oily sheen and generous tooth. Nestled beneath this leaf awaits a Nicaraguan binder hugging a top-secret proprietary blend of aged long-fillers. You're left with smooth yet assertive medium to full-bodied smoke, brimming with hints of cedar, leather, spices, coffee, and a dash of pepper. It's safe to say that Opium demands your attention, and it's well deserved.

Truly Pleased
What a great taste and burn! I was really pleased with this cigar and most importantly to me not only was the taste complex for a budget cigar the cigar held up on the golf course

Burn at just the right
Burn at just the right pace—not too slowly, not too swiftly. Well-packed filler and smooth wrapper. A most enjoyable smoke. Great value!

Robusto means robusto!
For the mild at heart, you should pass on this one. For those of us who like to live, and experience life to the fullest? Bingo.

Very little flavor and not near as full bodied as advertised.

Good earthy cigar that doesn't last
Went all in on a box of GAR Opium's. Great earthy and leathery cigar. Construction was good. Only negative was they have a very easy draw and fillers burn quickly. Plumes of smoke but her ash won't hold. This cigar pairs well with a Porter for those of you who enjoy dark beers.

Purchased these with much anticipation but was truly disappointed. From the burn to the flavor these sticks were not what I was expecting.

Customer Testimonials
One of the best cigars I've smoked in the last few years, but let it rest a few months....
A nice smoke. Very smooth and toothy. Overall a good cigar with a lovely label. I enjoyed this cigar.
Smoking one now that has been resting for over a year. Did not think very much of them after I first received them but this one is great. It has reaaaaly mellowed out quite a bit. I can retro hale the whole draw through the nose without a touch of harshness or ammonia. Not a bad cigar fresh but significantly better with a years rest.
