Consistent as clockwork.

Padron cigars are a series of robust Nicaraguan handmades boasting a deep and complex flavor. This brand continually gets high marks for consistency, and as such enjoys a loyal and enduring fan base. Much of the Padron hype comes from their Anniversary cigars, like Padron 1964 and Padron 1926. But those in the know reach for the mainline Padron just as frequently — and once you try one, I guarantee this becomes a staple in your humidor.

Padron cigars are Nicaraguan puros, as all of the leaves utilized to create the cigar are cultivated from the fertile soils of Esteli, Nicaragua. This mesmerizing mixture of hearty tobaccos produces a rich, robust cigar and offers a complex array of flavor capped off with a sweet finish. Best of all, each size is reasonably priced. When all the cards are put on the table, Padron cigars are hard to top, period.

Within its sea of 90+ ratings, Padron earned as high as a 93, noting: "Each puff of this big, fat cigar layers the palate with flavors ranging from toast and coffee bean to more refined espresso notes and a touch of caramel."

Excellent packaging and construction. Flavor was not my favorite but it burned slow and stayed lit. To each his own, I’m sure you’ll like them, would recommend.

This entry level Padron is excellent, If I could do the 1926, of course I would...who wouldn't, still great cigar, of course!

Love Padron
I love these and smoke daily. The effortless draw, clean burn from from beginning to end and consistency. I’ve never had a bad Padron. These are most affordable for me but when I can splurge I will get higher end for a treat and am never disappointed. Padron has made all other cigars substandard to my taste.

Why I enjoy Padron 2000
I like a full bodied smoke and my son in law prefers mild. The Padrons were tasty enough to satisfy me and not so strong as to be too potent for him. The draw is excellent, as is the construction. I could smoke these all day.

Padron is Spanish for consistency.
Love this smoke - coffee and toast, creamy. Flavor profile from Padron is spot on consistent. Just wish they were 46 instead of 42. Oh well, guess its the Churchill for me (I know, boo foo you). 5 stars in a 46!!! ... dreaming is free. Cheers!!

Just sitting here
What a wonderful fall afternoon here in New York, in my garage looking at recent dart purchases AND smoking a Padron torpedo natural wrapper but what I call their original classic. Not the 1926 or1964 or any other of padrons EXCELLANT cigars ...and they are fantastic! But if you can't afford the price point (though great prices at CI) how can you ignore the luscious smoke, perfect burn,no relights and a smooth all around consistent smoke.Sometimes a cigar taste so good you don't want it to get complex and change.A great smoke and a true medium body throughout...a cigar you can smoke 2 back to back and enjoy them both. That's how consistent these are.Tasted no wood, just smooth real aged well tobacco.Whats not to like about this day...your'e smoking a cigar aren't you?

Excellent Every Day Cigar!
Great every day cigar. I regularly smoke the 64 and 26 but like to mix these in as they are excellent, especially for the price. Love the maduro in the anniversary series but natural in the 4000. Good size, taste, burn and construction. All Padrons are better when the settle awhile in the humidor. CI has always shipped my cigars fresh and in good condition.

A Great Cigar
Usually smoke the 2000 but wanted a few extra puffs at the end. This cigar delivers a fine flavorful experience. All the thousand series do. Usually switch these up with the 64th anniversary line. Not a bad one in the bunch.

Nice smoke
Purchased for the first time since smoking the 1926 Anniversary from a cigar shop. Not quite the 26 but a very smooth smoke in its own right. Plan on purchasing more in the near future.

Very nice smoke
First time I have tried a not-top-dollar Padron and wasn't disappointed. Very nice medium-bodied cigar which held its flavor from end to end.
5 out of 5
Inner Beauty
Padron will not win any beauty contest. The wrappers are sometimes varied in color. The cigars are often soft and spongy compared to most other cigars. They are even sometimes crooked! And they have that plain-Jane, understated band. All these things bother me not at all because EVERY TIME you light one up you get the same thing. Perfect draw, perfect, slow and cool burn and wonderful flavor. One of my favorite cigars.

Hands down my favorite cigar
I took up cigar smoking a couple of years ago when my son who had been traveling in Nicaragua brought me home a gift of some Padrons. They were very large cigars but it was the first time ever that I was enjoying the smoke enough to smoke the whole thing. Since then I’ve wanted to expand my appreciation and understanding of other cigars. I’v tried some very well respected cigars. Pardon is still my run away favorite.

Pardon Churchill natural
The up side is that this Patron has all the qualities I love in natural wrapper Nicaraguan puro. Clouds of smoke, spicy, bright. The down side is it burns too fast. Maybe loose? Also overpriced, likely due to the brand recognition. Diesel unlimited and tatuaje Havana lv do the same job for less $$ and last longer. Still, patron is an excellent brand. My favorite is the 1926, but they are crazy expensive, I only smoke them when I go to the keys.

Dependably good.
These are a long term favorite of mine. They are never a disappointment and I think Padron's in general have the nicest draw in the industry. The 3000 is not my all time favorite cigar, but, it's my favorite cigar that I can afford to have regularly in the humidor.

This is another excellent cigar
This is another excellent cigar from the Padron family of cigars. The Padron 3000 is a slightly larger version of the Padron 2000. The 3000 allows the smoker the same quality tobacco, smooth burn, easy draw, and an outstanding smoke all around. I recommend this cigar for when you want to allow yourself the luxury of a very good cigar. It's worth it.

Excellent Cigar
The Padron 2000 is a very good cigar all around. The lights up well. It burns consistently. The draw is smooth. And the quality of the tobacco is superb. There is hardly anything better in the market when looking for a daily cigar or a once in a while outstanding smoke.

Padron churchill
Wow what a cigar! I give it 4 stars, from the start it was an amazingly smooth cigar. Got a little bitter at the nub which is perfectly fine since i enjoyed a 90 minute smoke before that nub! Went through my five pack in a matter of days! I would order a full box if both of my humidors werent already packed! I will make sure to have a stick at all times though. An honest review from a weekend cigar smoker!

Great Value for Quality Cigar
The Padron 7000 has been an affordable "every-day" stick for me for a while. It harnesses the flavour and quality of its more expensive namesakes at a fraction of the cost. Great smoke; heavy plumes; nice peppery flavour.

Pardon 3000. The way to go
Always a great cigar whether in Madura or Natural. I like to order the four packs so I can get some of each wrapper or give a four pack as a gift. This cigar gives a great medium to full body. A bit heavier in Maduro. The construction is perfect and burns like a champ even after a relight. You can never go wrong here. An always go to which never disipoints.

Great Smoke
I usually smoke the Padron Londres natural 42x5.5 and the Arturo Fuente Petite Corona. I wasn't quite ready for it to end so I was looking for something a little longer. The Palmas fit the bill. Very enjoyable flavor, can't go wrong with a Padron of any size. Now I just ordered the Padron Ambassador natural. It's 42 X 6.9, can't wait for that one to relax with. Padron is a quality smoke for everyday that won't break the bank.

Padron 7000 have to be my favorite cigar. They are a nice long smoke and easy draw every time.

Paton 3000 natural
Excellent cigar for the price. Smooth, burns well, lasts long.
5 out of 5
Consistently Superior
These 7000s are uniformly perfect in every way. Easy draw, superior flavor, amazingly even burn. Every 7000 series cigar I've had, natural or Maduro (and that is more than just a few) is perfect, every time. The price per cigar is quite reasonable compared to most every brand, from the perspective of quality/dollar, and there's no gimmick in an inflated MSRP vs. actual price, just straightforward quality. No more to say, except that this all holds true for the entire 2000-7000 series, both natural and Maduro, all of which I've tried a number of times.

Another excellent transaction !
Having bought from CI for many years, I've always had flawless transactions. I have no idea how they take care of problems as I've had at least 25 or more orders from them and never had a problem to date but I'm confident they would handle any problem in a professional manner. I give them TRIPLE A'S all the way .... A+ A+ A+ .... Joseph

This is my go-to! It has never let me down. I've never found a cigar smoker who didn't like it. I would recommend it to anyone for everyday or special occasions.

Just Right
I usually smoke the petite corona size in Arturo Fuente and these are similar. I like a mild smoke and these fit the bill. Also like the fact that they burn well and have never come unwrapped. Not to mention the flavor is heavenly. Can't go wrong with a Padron no matter what the size.

Padron 7000
I have bought several boxes, always the same happy experience and great with a Bourbon and splash of water. Starts very light, burned toast, but very quickly develops a balance. The flavor changes as it smokes, some roasted nuts. but never gets harsh. In the second half the burn was a little uneven and needed correcting.

Hard to draw and unpleasant flavor.
I have been most pleased with the various special offers/selections offered by CI - thank you! - but unfortunately not this one. Hard to draw and I find that it develops an unpleasant flavor toward the end.

After three weeks in the humi, I couldn't wait any longer...a warm day and a nice smoke. Solid ash and a nice after taste. Need to order more before summer.

Spend your money on good cigars, not a brand name
Absolutely does not live up to the hype. They slumbered in my humidor for about 3 months before I got into them. Couldn't wait to try the 'best brand in the world'. Average flavor, bitter ashy aftertaste, absolutely no pepper or caramel that you would expect from a nicaraguan. My advice is to spend your money on quality tobacco (many many full bodied cigars are better than these at less cost) instead of spending it on the Padron brand. They have outgrew themselves and the young bucks are killing them in terms of quality.

One of my top picks
Wrapper was a little loose from shipping, might have been due because of the weather conditions at the time, but after sitting in the humidor for two weeks they fill nice and right, I will be smoking one tonight, in the man cave.

awesome stick
This is one of my favorite sticks in the Padron line. The notes that you pick up are cream, toast, nuts and lite coffee. There's a slight white pepper on the retrohale but extremely tolerable. Just an awesome stick.

Padron 3000 Natural
A must have for your humidor. Beautiful construction, easy draw, and a clean burn. Starts with flavors of spice that transitions into creamy cocoa, nut and leather with a nice medium finish. This is a cigar everyone seems to enjoy. Note: towards the end it gets a little potent nicotine wise - just sip a little cola drink to clean your palate and minimize the head rush.

Accept no substitute!
Padron makes the best cigars in the world. The family reserve and various anniversary cigars can be matched against any premium cigar in the world, inlcuding Cubans. The standard Padrons are quite simply the perfect cigar. They are rolled to perfection, with a smooth draw and even burn. Flavorful without being overpowering. And fairly priced.

Bigger may not always be better.
So I've smoked two different sized Padrons today the first in the Delicias size and second (which I'm puffing on as I type) in the 3000 size, of the 2 I must say I prefer the Delicias due to the tremendous smoke out put and creamier texture. Both cigars are wonderful but I am noticing the 3000 to be a little more earthy and robust. Overall excellent cigars especially at such a reasonable price ,I think I can see a box of the Delicias in my future.

Padron 5000
Disappointed...had to insert, in 5 of the 5000, a small metal screw driver in order to have a decent draw. Will not order Padron from CI. Over the last several months the quality of all cigars appears to be the last concern. Will be now purchasing 2nds.

Padron is only my third favorite. That's because Padron 1964 & 1926 are my second and first. Best brand on the market, hands down!
4 out of 5
My current go to.
I'm a big fan of Padron's cigars. I'm especially fond of the 1926 series. That said the 1926's are prohibitively expensive for my budget. The Padron 3000 is a really nice, solid cigar at a price that in not too abusive. I would say that most of Padron's blends are on the assertive to highly assertive side as far as strength and flavor are concerned. With that in mind I would encourage folks to try these (and any) cigars before investing in a box. Like anything else, there is no one size fits all.
5 out of 5
Smooth Excellent Cigar
The Padron 3000 is my favorite cigar! Smooth, flavorful, even burn. Great price for such a good cigar. This is the cigar I usually choose from my favorites when I want to relax with a glass of bourbon and some smooth jazz.

Dealing with cigar sellers on Internet...
I've ordered cigars from many different sellers over the years and CI has always exceeded in dependability and took care of any problems. I like getting prices that are very reasonable to start with rather then playing games. In my book they're triple A all the way ! A+A+A+

I'm normally a Maduro guy, but the 3000 Nat is just hard to beat. It's what an everyday cigar experience should be! Fantastic burn! Excellent taste! This stick is making me a box press convert!
CB of Rockwell, NC
My favorite size is the Londres (5.5x42). It is a splendidly made corona--as are all Padron shapes & sizes--and in keeping with the tradition of the Padron family: "We will sell no cigar before its time"--this one'll not disappoint. You simply cannot go wrong with a medium-full Nicaraguan puro from Padron.
KK of Valdosta, GA
Padron 7000 natural has been my daily smoke for several years. The cigars come ready to smoke, having gone through an extensive aging process. The draw is consistently perfect and the flavor is earthy and leathery. Unfortunately, after three recent substandard boxes, I consulted with the CI customer service reps, who confirmed that the ammonia and acidic flavor was a result of the cigars having not been aged at all. I'm in the process of aging a box right now, but it will take some time. I recommend that you hold-off on Padron for a while.... As for CI customer service, you guys are the best.
AM of APO, AP
I'm smoking a Padron 3000 right now for the first time. Perfect size; the taste is unreal. Very smooth. I could definitely smoke one of these all day long. If you haven't tried one of these yet, what are you waiting for? Go ahead, you deserve it.
CM of Webb City, MO
I have three large humidors which I keep full with various high-quality cigars. I can literally just randomly pick any cigar in any one of them and enjoy an awesome cigar. So if I was asked "What is your favorite cigar?" I might not necessarily think Padron right off the bat. That being said, I smoke more Padrons than any other cigar. I recently noticed that I only have a few left, so I've got another box on the way. Even though I enjoy many other cigars, I never want to run out of these. Just a great cigar in every way.

The most consistent cigar I have ever smoked. Chocolate, cream, full-bodied, an awesome cigar!!! :)
MF of BOGALUSA, LA
Padron is a very good cigar. And NO, it is not the best cigar out there. Their '64s and '26s and Family's are great, but the thousand series are just well made smokes for the price. It is a very appealing, tasty, and consistent smoke for the price. As/If you get more into cigars, the thousand line Padrons are something you will probably leave behind. You may come back to them and enjoy them for what they are - well made consistent smoke at a nice price - but there are just going to be a lot more out there that are just going to do something for you and really excite the tastes when you smoke them. Soon you'll find Padron to be good, but not really doing too much for you. Take that as a challenge to go find something else on CI that's fabulous and don't argue with me until you have a vast repertoire under your belt. But Padron is good. But there are many things better... even around these price points. Also, Padron's really aren't Med-Full these days like many will advertise. And I'm not so sure the company is entirely honest stating all Nicaraguan tobacco. Smoke some cigars with Mexican tobacco (particularly wrapper) then smoke these again and tell me what you think.

I am a newbie to cigars and have purchased a couple samplers and have settled on buying 5 packs of various brands as a strategy to evaluate certain brands or types of cigars. I recently bought the Padron 2000 Maduro Robusto and I must say that I am very satisfied with that cigar. From the first light to the last inch of this fine smoke I find it to be an easy draw and a very flavorful stick. I would recommend this cigar to my friends and I will definitely purchase more and keep an ample supply in my humidor.
DW of Tunkhannock, PA
I finally had my first Padron. Holy crap! Many premium cigar I have smoked have been mediocre at best and others flat out disappointing. This one will absolutely not disappoint you. You hear people talk of chocolate smell on the foot. I had never really noticed it. This stick smelled like it was wrapped in dark chocolate! Most delicious smelling cigar ever. Initially the flavor was decent but not overly impressive. Just entering the 2nd third, I was hit by a flavor freight train! Blew my F'ing mind! If have not, you HAVE to try this one.
HS of Fayetteville, PA
I smoke the Londres (5.5 x 42) and the Churchill (6.875 x 46). The small ring size allows the wrapper flavor to shine. Construction is about 99% flawless. Both the Maduro and Natural are excellent smokes. To my taste the Natural has a "deeper" flavor and more pleasant finish. These cigars have stayed consistent in construction, burn quality and flavor over the 10+ years I've been smoking them. If I had to limit myself to only one brand of cigar, Padron would be it.
RA of MESA, AZ
Went thru a box of 7000 Maduro's less than a year ago, liked the experience, and placed reorder along with some less expensive Ramon Bueso, Genesis... The Genesis have arrived, taking up residence in my humidor. That tease Padron remains backordered (at almost triple the price of RB) weeks after ordering. They must be doing something right to have that sort of following. I'm still awaiting a return call from Cameron Diaz too. Patience, patience, patience.
ER of Herndon, VA
Probably the most consistent brand I've smoked. I usually go for the 3000 Maduro. It's always the exact same experience, which is a good thing. I might describe the 3000 Maduro as earthy and quite strong. Always perfect burn and always a perfect draw. The 5000 Maduro has more of a wooden taste to it, sweet wood. I've sampled a number of brands and often when I buy the same thing again my experience differs. But with Padron the way they tasted the very first time is the way they taste now, for that reason it's my goto when I want a no non-sense good smoke.
SR of Frederick, MD
Here's a smoke that delivers! Impeccable draw, steady, even burn and in-your-face flavor. Sip your favorite rye after a couple of good puff...let that sit on your palate for a few seconds...now puff again...retrohale...who mellows who? Who brings out the best in who? Just plain, "WOW!" All I know for certain is that, with Padron, I scored today.
PS of Decatur, GA

This was an absolute jewel about 12 years ago. You could go to the local cigar stores and buy a box and it would be great.

Nicaragua is putting out some of the best cigars on the market today, and Padron is the undisputed king of Nicaraguan cigars. Nothing more needs to be said.
ND of Morristown, TN
Pardon 7000 is the best cigar of all cigars... I don't care if anyone disagrees with me...Pardon 7000 has an unparalleled flavor...its burn is always even and it lasts a long time if I leave it sitting while grabbing or doing something...no other cigar matches its intensity and overall satisfaction...simply the cigar to end all cigars...nuff said!

I'm not the writer that some of you guys are, but I do like a good cigar. So here goes . I was out on a cigar outing with my son, who by the way got me started smoking cigars . We had hit our second cigar shop, and my son was pushing me to try a Opus X. Well I splurged and bought one and also a Padron 26 and 64 and a Padron natural churchill. I smoked the 26 there and fell in love, best damm cigar I've had to date, the 64 and churchill went into my humidor along with the Opus X. To make a long story short the 64 was really good [ not the 26 but good ] , and the natural churchill was right in line with the 26,. I'am now a Padron snob....
SQ of Scottsburg, IN
Rich in flavor, burns evenly and last a long time. I like this cigar.
EW of Virginia Beach, VA
Pardon is the best cigar brand out there. I definitely love the Padron 2000 Natural (Robusto). From the time I smoked my first one, I just knew one this was my cigar and I never looked back.
CV of Alvin, TX
....I just didn't care for the flavor it produced. The cigars I have in my corner are ones like San Cristobal including the Elegancia, My Father, Camacho. most from the Garcia family, Diesel, Davidoff Corizone and Double R, and ones that are not expensive at all such as the Indian Tabac Classic. For me, the Padron had a harsh flavor that only got worse the further you smoked. In addition, on the 5 pack I ordered two of them had really bad burn problems. After trying to keep one lit I finally took my cutter and cut about an inch off of the end that was burning. Under the ash was a hole a little smaller than a pencil eraser doing all of the work. The tobacco all around this small hole wasn't burning, just this deep small cavity. It may be that I received a bad batch which can happen to any one at any time. I'm still going to try the more expensive 1926 and 1964 Padron at some point.
DM of Hixson, TN
Very very good cigar any time of day. I've only sampled the maduro so far. The 6000 and 7000 series. Will likely be ordering 5000 series in the future. Good construction, excellent burn. The 7000 lasted me about an hour and twenty. Burn line was razor sharp. Ash held about an inch and a half before needing to be discarded. Probably would have been longer but I couldn't put it down. The caramel sweetness remained through the entire burn. Not too much pepper, just enough to know its there. It's a good sweet and spicy stick with a medium flavor and body eventually progressing to medium to full in the second half. Coffee notes throughout. Just overall a good smoke. I feel I can hand these to my regular smoke buddies as well as to first time smokers and have good results. For the price they'll find a place in a more weekly rotation rather than a daily. I really enjoyed the flavor and body of this smoke.
JR of Reston, VA
never had such a smooth well balanced cigar at this price. 5x50 perfect draw, construction, even burn, white ash......to me, just a great smoke####
TB of winona, MN
These sticks are fantastic. Got them sitting in my humi, biding my time.
DM of WESTPORT, MA
Palmas Maduro: Very easy to light. Excellent construction draw and burn. Flawless white ash and heavy smoke output. Medium strength with medium to full flavors. Slight tobacco sweetness on the lips with flavors of deep semi-sweet cocoa, dark coffee and caramel. The occasional slight black pepper tingle with the medium length finish after each draw. Slight strength increase at half way point but medium to full flavors remain the same. A very consistent cigar.

JD of NOKOMIS, FL
I tried Padron cigars in the 1960’s after the Miami cigar stores no longer had any Havana cigars left, following the Cuban embargo. I found the Padrons then did not have the full, rich flavor of the Havana’s I was trying to replace – although I returned to the Padron store several times because I liked the man who sold them. When I heard people praising them in later years, I assumed they appealed to those who liked mild cigars. A friend then gave me a Padron 1964 anniversary and I found it better, but still not rich or full enough for my taste, while being very expensive. Now, however, I have tried the Padron 6000 Maduro torpedo and found it an excellent cigar, with a full rich taste and aroma, and that intensified flavor that truly great cigars have as you reach the end. It actually tastes very much like the much more expensive H. Upmann Havana Especial Reserva 2009 Maduro torpedo cigars I bought in Paris last month, and is also quite similar to my favorite cigars: the Oliva Cain Maduro torpedos – although the latter cost slightly less for larger (6x54 versus 5.5x52) and longer lasting torpedos. However, if these Padron 6000’s were the only cigars I could get, I could be quite happy with them.
