In my opinion, these were very satisfying. I've come to realize that Connecticut cigars are typically my favorite, and this one was very nice. Like a smooth wood taste mixed with either honey or cream. Might be a wierd way to describe it, but its also kinda hard to describe. I'm still fairly new at cigar smoking though, so there's also that. Overall, they have been one of my favorites so far though.

While deployed to Iraq I made the Golden Bear a part of my routine when returning back from successful convoys. After retiring from the Army I continued to smoke this delightful cigar every Saturday. While the cigar was out of production I could not find a suitable replacement and I am excited that it is available again.

Well constructed and feels hefty in the hand. The draw is nice and smokes slow. Prepare to sit relax and enjoy a medium to full body flavor bomb for a long while. Burns even and very nice smoke plume. Pairs extremely well with my favorite bourbon. Very happy I got these sticks.

This is a delicious cigar. The construction leaves a little to be desired. The cap came apart on 4 of the 5 smokes in this pack mid way through the smoke. The ends looked flawed and should have possibly been seconds. Overall a good, flavorful smoke.

I bought a box of Golden Bears a year plus ago and they smoked wonderfully. I think they must have had an novice (group?) in there because these are extremely difficult to smoke. The taste is still good, but it is wasted.

If you are use to the heavy hitting and spicy maduros, this stick will seem boring until you realize that you can almost chain smoke them and your head does not spin. The first third has that under aged/green taste. The last two thirds build some flavor. This is a VERY MILD stick and a good occasional break from those precious premiums.

I don't like a cigar with the ring size of the Golden Bear Toro. They are rolled very tight and thus are hard to smoke. The flavor is just ok. I won't buy them again.
