I like the size and the maduro tobacco. The price was about what I would like to spend. I was surprised when I smoked the first one. It was not packed so tight that you could not draw it ought or keep it lighted. The taste was good and it favorably competed with the much more expensive cigars. A good cigar with a surprising spice note right off the bat. The draw is not bad but was "confined" when getting started. It burned evenly and had solid ash. If you can get these at a comfortable price point, don't hesitate. Be sure to let them sit in the humidor for a longish while or you will be disappointed.

These are a bit light and loosely rolled for a Padilla, but at the price they are a good value. Nice medium flavor, consistent burn, light to medium draw. A very nice, enjoyable smoke at a reasonable price. If you have the time for a Churchill that is!

Flavors mentioned, as I researched, include charred wood, raisins, cocoa, compost, barbeque, coffee and sweetness. Before I lit the cigar I detected cocoa, hay and butterscotch. Once lit, the Maduro wrapper was immediately apparent with some cocoa, wood and sweetness. The profile changes as you smoke it with pepper kicking in at the midpoint. The sweetness goes away and wood and coffee get stronger. The cigar was a little loose, but did not burn hot. The burn was uneven, but I didn't have to correct it. Dark gray ash typical of Nicaraguan filler. I would buy this again. A decent, affordable Maduro.

This medium bodied cigar burns slow, so you can leave it for 5 min. and come back to it no problem!! The construction is solid-no peeling unlike the Nub brand. It tastes good, not great! For a medium bodied cigar the La Terraza is a good bet!

Good construction, draw, burn and smoke. Delicious notes of toasted sweetness right off the bat and did not disappoint throughout. Flavor did not vary much but seemed to maintain its profile all the way through while keeping a good looking ash. Bought box of the Toro Gordo while on sale. Quickly becoming a fan of Padilla cigars. Could received one less star because felt the different notes of flavor were not as pronounced as profile states. Still a very good cigar and will enjoy smoking rest of the box as they sit in humidor.

For the money, this is a great medium-bodied cigar. It pairs well with the whiskeys I enjoy, and I have yet to find a poorly a constructed stick. I bought these to compare with the 60 ga. I think the larger ring gauge smoked a little cooler and had more flavor (as to be expected) so I'd rate that variety at 5 Stars.

i picked a box of these during one of CI's weekly deals not really knowing what to expect other than what I've read in the reviews. Surprisingly enough, these are damn good cigars that will definitely be on my inventory list for reorders. It has a nice even burn, smooth draw, with hints of chocolate/nutty flavor. I would go as far as classifying these as a mellow cigar and would recommend pairing it with a cup of joe...

Fantastic smoke. I am used to Padilla Cazadores but when they were out I figured I'd give these a shot. When they arrived they came in a classic Padilla box with tissue paper. The cigar on first look Is very intimidating due to its dark complexion but on the contrary the cigar is fantastic. Very smooth, easy to pull and a great taste. I couldn't ask for better.

These were very serviceable cigars. For the price, they're hard to beat. While about 1/3 of the way through they get a touch bold, they mellow out for the remaining 2/3 of the smoke and have a nice even flavor. They burn evenly and I had no coning or canoeing. They're not too bold for casual cigar smokers, but they've got enough character for those who like a little more. These run a perfect medium in my book. They're great for a golf course--not so expensive you mind setting them down to swing a club, but good enough you remember to pick it up afterward. And they're very shareable in case you golf with other folks who like cigars too.

I bought a ten pack as a recent Daily Deal. The price was low, but I assumed I was getting a great deal, based on Padilla's fine reputation. I like to relax with a cigar, but this cigar actually made me more aggravated than relaxed. Construction: the ring was the only thing keeping the wrapper secure. Taste: uninspiring without pepper nor cocoa nor spice. I really did not enjoy it, and I would not recommend it. If you are looking for an excellent yet inexpensive cigar, there are better choices available i.e. La Estrella Cubana

Got these on sale, wishing I had ordered more. Clean wrapper, good draw, good flavor. Will be looking for them to go on sale again. Until then, will be enjoying what I got.

This reminds me of the Padilla brand that got me hooked on cigars, very smooth with with very little earthy spice and a sweet chocolaty nuance all the way from start to finish. Great cigar at a great price!
