Obsidian Gordo Sale

Pack of 10

There's a new sheriff in town.

Obsidian’s debut did not go unnoticed. The dare-to-be-different brand set a new standard among premium handmades and the industry has taken notice. The size listing is stacked – a slew of big-ring vitolas, figurados, and more. The blend is dark, meaty, and enticing, delivering a wealth of dense tobacco flavor in an unconventional format. Packed in chunky, Spanish cedar boxes, Obsidian’s most remarkable trait is the price. Premium quality and memorable flavor, all for a fee that’s most similar to an ordinary yard ‘gar. Literally, they would be a bargain at twice the price.

So what’s in this meaty porterhouse? Obsidian employs a dark, oily Brazilian Habano ligero wrapper overtop a bold blend of Cuban-seed long-fillers from Nicaragua and the Dominican, secured inside a spicy Criollo ’98 binder. The result is a densely rich and chewy blend, loaded with complex notes of espresso, pepper, earth, toast, and cream. Full-bodied, but extremely smooth and balanced, Obsidian is thoroughly satisfying.

Burning Oil
What?! Why do these taste like a weird petroleum product? Like burning turpentine or kerosene or something. Gross.

One of my favorite "go to" cigars
Obsidian black is one of my favorite full body cigars. Good taste, well made and mostly an even burn. The draw is just right for me..not too tight. I like the 4.5 x 60 but i prefer the 6 x 60 style. Just personal preference.

Gross, loose, bad tasting, don't waste your money on this one!!!
Bought this 10 pack from MMAO. Worst decision ever. I tried one and the draw was real easy, but also meant that the cigar was really loose. Aside from that, the taste was HORRIBLE! I am not exaggerating! I confirmed when I gave some to two of my friends. Asked them a week later what they thought and they said "gross! why would you give me that cigar?!" do NOT waste your money on these. I have given them chance after chance considering there are 10 in a pack. I've smoked 3 now and it DOES NOT get better at all, regardless of how long they've sat in the humidor. It makes me wonder if my other PDR's are going to be this bad... I'd hate for that to happen since I've got 40 more various PDR's from the factory tour sampler! I'm currently aging them to give them a chance. This was definitely NOT a deal!

Not matured! Will have to be aged!
These cigars taste like hot, spicy smoke! They obviously were not aged which is probably why the discount! My advice: DO NOT SELL CIGARS THAT HAVE NOT BEEN PROPERLY Married and seasoned! It only cheapens your reputation as well as the customer will get a lousy cigar!

Hot smoke &spice! They probably need a few weeks in a humidor! I will let them chill for a couple of weeks
