Nicaragua Cream

Smooth, robust....and affordable. Sometimes it seems the stream of CI deals will continue unabated until the sun blinks out from the sky. We might make it look easy my friend, but CI's buyers are constantly scouring in Central America and the Caribbean basin to fill the massive CI pipeline with cigar deals. When Nicaraguan Cream was brought to me, it was obvious that it fit the bill nicely. It is what it is: an inexpensive, knockaround cigar made for daily enjoyment. And that it does very well. These chunky mazos are packed to the gills with value, featuring smooth, Cuban-seed wrappers and a sandwich blend of quality Nicaraguan tobaccos. Medium to full-bodied and relatively smooth, Nicaraguan Cream delivers a consistently enjoyable, long-lasting flavor.

Good value - decent construction for a sandwich.
I was impressed with flavor- esp when reading it was a "sandwich". Got as a birthday gift in Torpedo - ordering a bundle. Agree with other reviewers- would not consider almost a "full" strength - more toward a medium. Nice burn, even strength all the way. Very pleasant cigar aroma too.

Horrible
Horrible smoke, poorly wrapped, and is mild-medium.

prettygood for the low cost.
i got 2 of these in a brown bag grab bag a few weeks ago.i was impressed,,very mild and mellow,,no bite with a mild flav and aroma.ive had big name cigars that were not as good as these 2 were.no one wrinkle their noses at the aroma,,so thats good. these would be good for hand outs or for your buds who only like the mellower type cigars. im gonna order a bundle,,for the price of this cigar i was impressed.

These sticks are pretty good for the value. I would order these again.

Poorly rolled
Smooth smoking but runs bad on one side or other. Some stems and poorly rolled. Shame because smoke you do get it smooth

Arived very dry.
Cigars required two weeks in humidor before I could even try them. They now smoke as advertised.

Good everyday smoke for the price but the Dominican cream is better.

Decent smoke if you like smooth tobacco
First, let me say that I won these on the sister site for a ridiculously cheap price so I wasnt very worried about the value per stick. The first one wasnt that great after a few days in the coolerdor so I rotated them to the bottom and gave them a few more weeks to see if they got better and they did. Its a decent soft smoking cigar with a good flavor that never got harsh even to the nub. Is it the greatest? No, but its good enough to smoke and hand out without being embarrassed either. I recommend cutting because it tends to split when punched. I did not notice any flavor other than a smooth tobacco flavor all the way to the end which is what I enjoy.

Nicaragua Cream Cigar
Good smoke but is a very soft cigar.A lot of the wrapper will peal up as your smoking it.It's a good cigar for the price though.

Too loosely packed and falls
Too loosely packed and falls apart at tip, but OK... does not burn very evenly on a frequent basis... Nicaraguan tobacco good.

Good cigar all in all !!!
This cigar is everything I want in a smoke, it's not a top of the line smoke but it will do!!! It's a even burning cigar and it is smooth as can be expected!!! Those other reviews are a little hard but true for their own business and I'm not a coniser by any means necessary, but I truly think that these are not my favorite cigars by any means !!! I prefer comocho over these , but they will work!!!! I will maybe buying again!!!!!

They THE cigars were completely dried out. Very difficult to smoke unraveled in my hands after cutting

Cheap for a reason
Good for beginners

Could go either way
All I can say most of these were dried out and loose. The couple that were in good shape were enjoyable though.

Nicaragua Cream Torpedo
I was surprised by the Nicaragua Cream Torpedo. I have smoked Nicaraguan cigars before but it has been awhile. I ordered them because of the price. I enjoyed the very first one I fired up. It delivered just what it promised. An affordable everyday cigar. It burns even, smokes very cool and smooth. I just placed another order for them.

Nicaragua Cream Churchill
Good value, some better than others on the draw. Probably cut filler.

Great Value Smoke
Plenty of smoke from an easy draw with a pleasant creamy taste at an affordable price is why I keep buying these babies. My taste buds are not sensitive enough to taste the flavors in most smokes described with flowery language. But, these really do taste creamy. I gave them four stars, instead of five, because a few are to loose.

Good everyday smoke
Although cheap in price, these have always come through as flavorful and reliable. A great everyday smoke. Definitely maintain a supply of these in my humidors.

Good for the price
Good medium favor Cuban sandwich style every day cigar

Sour Cream?
For the money, I would go with Dark Shark, a truly decent cigar. The Nicaragua Cream has a tendency to unravel, and the quality is wildly inconsistent. There is also some bitterness to the smoke. I would rename it Nicaragua Sour Cream.

Enjoying the smooth smoke.

Good cigar just burns down
Good cigar just burns down one side or just the middle on most so far

interesting name
Not sure why they are called cream. They don't taste like cream, they smell like an old barn reminds me of an old prom date gone wrong.

shouldn't have
Not creamy at all. They will sit in humidor and hopefully taste better after months. For now i cannot smoke them. Spend your money on different cigars.

Cheap smoke
if you are looking for a cheap smoke then this is for you. I don't know why they call them cream they are not creamy but I guess cream sounds better then cheap.

Inconsistent blend. The first bundle was nice and smooth, but the second was bitter. Not one I'd order again.

Nicaragua Cream Robusto
This cigar is fine while I work around the farm. Not one I would brag about or share with friends. The price was great but the cigar seemed a little dry/brittle no matter how long it stays in the humidor.

Great for the price!
Good everyday cigar. Not necessarily a complex flavor, but a good one nonetheless. about 90% burned really well only a few minor problems. Good cigar to hand out to beginners as well.
2 out of 5
Not good.
The price was right but the cigar was not. The wrapper came away from the smoking end after I cut it and made for poor smoke.

Nicaraguan Cream Robusto
The cigar itself was ok. I had a lot of trouble keeping the cigars lit and a majority of them burned uneven

Nicaragua Cream Churchill
Disappointed from the second I opened the box ....my very first one started to unravel the minute I lit it. And subsequently they all have done the same thing . Disappointed to say the least'
Customer Testimonials
Love these cigars! Bought a bundle of the robusto after getting the email, some buddies wanted to try them, so I sent 5 packs to them and kept 10 for myself. They and myself loved them. Great tasting and nice construction. Clean white ash and the flavor is spot on. For the price you can't beat this anytime or everyday smoke! I just ordered another bundle for myself. As long as these are made and in stock they will always be a staple in my humi!
A very good cigar. They have a full bodied taste, but not harsh. They are wrapped perfectly, I haven't had one yet that was too soft or rolled too tightly to draw. They are consistent in burning; they never burn unevenly and have a nice white ash. All in all, one of the best cheapies I've ever smoked!
I bought the Robusto size and loved it! I just ordered the Toro. It's the perfect everyday stick for me. It's not as light as most Connecticuts, but it's smooth and is good for anytime of day.
Loosely rolled, burned unevenly, not bad tasting though. Sorry CI, this isn't a budget stick for me.
Not too bad for an inexpensive cigar. Good draw, good ash, nice flavor.
