A well-aged beauty from Plasencia is back for a limited time!
The Vintage series from Nestor Plasencia is a skillfully crafted handmade that combines a select mixture of well-aged tobaccos. Actually, well-aged is an understatement in this case. The wrapper leaf, a sultry Ecuadorian-grown maduro, was cultivated in 1989. The long-fillers, a choice recipe of Dominican, Honduran and Costa Rican leaves, have undergone an extensive aging process of 6-7 years. After rolling, the cigars are kept in aging rooms for an additional 9+ months before being boxed and shipped to the retailer. A great deal of time goes into this cigar, but hot damn is it worth it!
Nestor Vintage is a super-slow-burning cigar that leaves a cluster of white clouds above your head after each puff, which is accompanied by a toasty, cedary aroma. Hints of nuts tease your taste buds as a rich creaminess swarms your palate. On the aftertaste, the slightest hint of pepper is left behind, lingering just long enough to satisfy before picking up the cigar once again. Complex and perfectly constructed, the Vintage from Nestor Plasencia is a wonderful medium-bodied Honduran. Supplies are extremely limited, so if you're interested hop to it man! These extensively aged morsels from Plasencia won't last long....
