The cream of the crop from Macanudo. Every so often, a special harvest of premium leaves surpasses the highest of standards, earning the right to be considered ‘Macanudo Vintage Quality’. Happening only 5 times in the last 30+ years, these harvests are incredibly scarce and produce the finest cigars Macanudo has ever offered. The last batch of these choice leaves was harvested in 1997, in what Macanudo’s Master Blender, Daniel Nunez, labeled “the best crop ever used”.
I cannot believe CI got this cigar (Macanudo Vintage 1997) in stock! I bought the last of them that my local cigar shop had and I was so upset that no other shop had them in stock. They all told me these were all out and the 2000's were the next ones up. And I have been looking on CI weekly hoping you would have some. AND YOU DID! And I bought a box the day I saw them on here! Amazing cigar, but you have to smoke the 6.9" 1997. The drag is amazing, the smell is amazing, the taste is even better (with a slight spice, barely noticeable). Just an all around great cigar!
