Peace in the valley! 

The Connecticut River Valley is a gorgeous place, and its made even more beautiful knowing that a large portion of tobacco comes out of the farms right here in the good ol' US of A. One of those special tobaccos is Connecticut Broadleaf, known for its large leaves and robust flavors. Soon, it'll also be known for being the wrapper leaf of the Latitude Zero El Valle! 

The Latitude Zero El Valle is the most rich and complex blend of the Latitude Zero lineup, using long-fillers from both Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic bound by a Nicaraguan leaf, with that Connecticut Broadleaf we all know and love for the wrapper. Waves of cocoa, molasses, earthiness, leather, and pepper come from the thick, chewy smoke of the El Valle and will keep you happy from your first puff to your last.

Tried this cigar in a sampler pack. Earth on the palate, semi sweet chocolate on the retro. Good construction, if a little thin. Wrapper feels thin in the hand. Held onto the ash an impressive length of time. Flavor doesn't really evolve. Obviously a cheap cigar, but this is definitely worth gifting or grabbing a few for guests when you don't want to break out your top shelf stuff. A solid B-, which just squeaks it into 4-star territory.

One of my new favorite cigars. Strong notes of leather, molasses, chocolate, and a hint of pepper and earthiness and an amazing price.
