In general, I'm a big fan of La Gloria Cubana. However, this box was a mixed bag of experiences. The deliciously dark Maduro wrapper doesn't burn at the same rate as the fillers and causes hot bitter moments forcing you to primp and burn the outer wrapper to keep it from burning deeper inside. That aside, the flavors of cocoa and coffee are very much worth the effort to keep these burning evenly. Maybe I received the odd batch rolled by an inexperienced newbie?

These are my go to sticks! Well made great draw and doesn’t break the bank. I’ve been smoking LaGloria’s from beginning, started with El Credito seconds I would travel to SW 8th Street factory back probably before 2000 and I’ve smoked alternatives but always come home to the Series R! I like 6 x 60 because can latch on without compromising shape.
