Joya De Nicaragua is upping their game. After being introduced to Shut the Box on a visit with friends in Memphis, Tennessee, the chairman of JDN, Dr. Alejandro Martinez Cuenca, took his favorite past time and created a whole new function for an empty cigar box. From the outside, these boxes look just like a normal cigar box would. On the inside, each contains 20 Joya de Nicaragua Antano 1970 cigars. Comprised of Nicaraguan binder and fillers and encased in a Nicaraguan Habano Criollo wrapper Antano 1970 cigars are a full-bodied puro like no other, offering notes of earth, leather and floral with some spice added in enhancing each experience.
Once the cigars are removed, the box then becomes the setting for a game of Shut the Box, the object of which is to roll the dice and successfully overturn the number tiles and eventually, as the name implies, Shut the Box.
