Everyone needs to KNOW what the humidity levels are in their humidor and this gauge does the job-- as long as it's readings are correct. One never truly knows so we have to believe this unit is accurate. Cheap-- mine was free with my order--- and seems to be decent quality.

I like it and it seems accurate, but I don’t like that there is no option to adjust and dial it in if it’s off. This also comes with no directions, as it’s just a simple on/off and Fahrenheit / Celsius. Very easy to use

I didn't get to open it right away. So, it is probably to late to complain, but it didn't work. The battery back wouldn't close. So maybe the battery it came with is to big. I don't know. I may have just gotten a bad one.

This is a user friendly hygrometer. It’s readings are consistent and accurate...plus or minus 1 degree of boveda packet value.

After my original equipment dial hygrometer decided to spontaneously disassemble I decided to purchase this digital type. I have two others of this type and have not had any issues or problems with these. They work as advertised and are accurate.

When I was depending on the analog hygrometers, I found that they each had their own quirks from having sticky needles to not holding calibration. I also never made the connection on how temperature influences humidity levels. I've had issues with my cigars being a little on the damps side. Changing over to the Humi-Care hygrometer and humidifiers has made managing humidity levels much easier. I think the digital hygrometers are more accurate and responsive to changing humidity levels.

Had a lot of difficulty with this keeping accurate readings. Had to calibrate it several times, all to no avail. Decided to replace and am much happier with its replacement.

Calibrated with a boveda pack, and it was right on the money. Works well and the price was right. Can't ask for more than that.

I use this to check on humidity in my humidor but also to keep tabs on humidity all around the house. Magnetic case especially useful.

I used a Boveda 75% calibration kit and this hygrometer displayed a perfect 75%.

Excited to use the digital hygrometer i quickly exchanged it with the analog in my humidor. when it never got within 30 degrees i put the the analog back in for a real comparison. nope it never moved. in the crazy 2 weeks since (6 hrs sleep in 3 days) i have not yet made any needed adjustments to the hygrometer.

I love this digital device. It sits nicely on top and is more accurate then the one on the humidor. I will buy for my friends! Great price too!

Compared it to my existing which I had previously tested using salt and water and this one is off by about 8 percent... I guess once you know how far it is off you can still use it, but kind of a pain.

I have a cabinet humidor. I had 2 calibrated hygrometers inside, one on the top shelf and one on the bottom. CI sent me this as a freebie with an order. Put it next to the calibrated unit and let it rest over night. Was reading 4 points too high. Have placed it in a few places and its still 4 pts off...wish i could calibrate it but its works well just need to compensate is all.

This was a replacement for the defective hygrometer that came with my upgrade for the humidor I purchased. The initial hygrometer had damage from the battery leaking acid. I called customer service to have it replaced and they sent a new one out at no charge with quick shipping. I have since received it and it works just fine. Thank CI customer service, you did an awesome job!

Compared to two other hygrometers, one believed to be bad and another believed to be good. Was very close to the good one in humidity and temp. Now rests comfortably in my humidor doing it's job.
