HC Series Habano2 Sale

The best HC Series yet.

When HC first dipped thier toe in to the cigar game, doubters loomed around every corner. But ten 90+ ratings later, the cynics have been silenced and the brand is walkin' on sunshine. Now enter the newest cigar in the HC Series, the Habano squared. A de-lish box-pressed morsel destined for big things....very big things.

As soon as HC ventured out to develop the Habano squared, nothing but the best would suffice. Everything from hand-selected leaves, down to the box-press were carefully thought out and executed. And the end result is extraordinary, because what awaits is a medium to full-bodied creation that is complex, uber-smooth and highly satisfying. Carefully crafted in Nicaragua, the blend starts with a hearty dose of patiently aged Honduran and Nicaraguan long-fillers. This rich core is hugged by an Ecuadorian Sumatra binder, smoothing out and complementing these bold leaves. Finally, an Ecuadorian Habano 2000 wrapper is carefully draped over the outside, boasting ample oils and a seamless appearance. Together these tobaccos wrangle up an impressive display of white billowy smoke. Predominant notes of roasted nuts and pepper mingle with nutmeg, coffee, and cedar before a creamy finish. Impressive from beginning to end, the Habano squared is no doubt the shining star of the HC Series.

Buttery smooth
Got this as part of a sampler pack. Wanted to write this review directly under the cigar listing. Now, one of my favorite cigars. Absolutely buttery smooth cigar and a very well refined med-full body cigar. Burns very even and put together almost perfectly. Rivals my other favorite the RP decade. Might even put this above it in preference. Well done.

Great cigar!
My experience with the HC Series Habano2 was the Perfecto from the AJ Fernandez Box Pressed Perfecto sampler. The draw was a little light, but the cigar was well-constructed, burned evenly, and delivered lots of tasty smoke . The flavor was not too bold, and got even better as the cigar approached the end. I smoked it until it got too hot to hold, and I hated to throw the nub away. I will buy a box at some point. I will buy the Belicoso unless I can find the Perfecto for sale outside the sampler.

almost perfect
This cigar is amazing/almost perfect. The draw is a little tight but otherwise they have perfect flavor, perfect construction, perfect aged smoothness and perfectl thick/bountiful/chewy smoke output. Love them. They're now tied with rocky patel decade as my favorite moderately priced cigars.

Disappointed
I had purchased these because they were a rated cigar and all the reviews said that they were a really good smoke. I was very disappointed in these smokes. The first one I lit up did not burn very well, felt like more work to just keep it burning than I did actually smoking it. It didn't have very much flavor either not very tasty at all. So I figured it might have just been a bad smoke, so I tried 8 more all the same. Even gave a some to my buddy to try as well (seasoned smoker) he didn't like them either. All in all very disappointed in these.

Best of all premiums I smoke
I have had problems with plugged or slow draw cigars. Nothing ruins my enjoyment more than a cigar that does not draw freely. The HCs by Zikar have never done that. I've not smoked over 20 different versions of the HC and have never found a bad draw on any of them. The flavors are wonderful and the draw is consistently open, free and smooth. I simply will no longer purchase cigars where I've had significant draw problems. This includes certain versions of Gurkha, Alec Bradley, Montecristo and Partagas. Never a any problems with Oliva, Graycliff, Padron and Zikar's HC

Solid Box Pressed Construction
I found the strength to be medium and a lot of flavor. The burn was very even all the way to the end. This is another excellent blend from AJ.
