Gurkha Warlord

Description

Hide ya kids, hide ya wife, the Warlord is here.

The Gurkha Warlord is a cigar that takes no prisoners, and isn't shy about the matter, professing to be one of the greatest and most full-bodied Gurkha blends ever. A bold statement when you consider the impressive stable of cigars that exist under the Gurkha umbrella. Carefully handcrafted, the Warlord weighs in at a hefty 6.7”x60. This large vitola houses a choice selection of potent Nicaraguan fillers and is complemented by a flavorful Connecticut binder. Rounding out the savory blend is an oily and leathery Nicaraguan wrapper.

This complex bouquet strikes a balanced accord between flavor and body, as meaty and rich flavors dance on the palate delivered by cool thick flavors. As the slow burn progresses, notes of nuts, oak, and spice are accentuated by an espresso like finish. Easily one of the most full-bodied Gurkhas on the market, the Warlord is not only de-lish, but delivers an experience as promised. In traditional Gurkha fashion, the Warlord is packaged inside eloquent treasure-style chests, bringing the high end feel of the limited-run Warlord full swing.

Note: Only the Super Toro Box of 33 will be packaged in the the treasure chest.

Definitely full bodied, yet surprisingly smooth. As it progressed I tasted mint, grass, mocha. Construction and burn near perfect. PS - I had aged this cigar for 3-1/2 years.

Gurkha is a great brand. Good quality and enjoyable. The box is excellent. 4 stars only because there are better cigars at a higher price. For price and quality these are great. Smoking this brand for years. Recommended.

I have always loved the Gurkha line, across the board. I got this one as part of a sampler pack. Terribly disappointed. Construction was way off, and the wrapper started peeling as soon as I cut it (no, I didn't cut too deeply into it). The draw was very tight and hard to keep lit. I smoked about an inch of it before I just got tired of it. I've never had a Gurkha this poorly constructed before today.

Customer Testimonials
Gurkha Warlord; The Warlord is my favorite Gurkha. Just like a Warlord it demands your respect. It’s full bodied, intense with a thick satisfying smoke. Pull it too fast and it will Kick your......... Give it time, work it slow, and you will discover that even you can control and enjoy the power and greatness of the Warlord. I also give these to clients with my business card because I know they will never be disappointed. Its a big stick with full body flavors and noticeable quality that gets your attention. It will take at least an hour to truly experience its greatness. Would you expect less? It is of course..... The Warlord.

To me the Warlord is closer to a mild-medium-bodied stick. The draw was almost too easy but due to its size I did punch the cap twice; I won't do that again. Due to 20+ years of military chow (everything from c-rations, t-rations, mre's, & chow hall food) my palate is semi-wrecked but I tell you this is 1 of the best tasting cigars I've ever had. Do I smoke a lot of cigars? Only at least 2 per day of all different types until now. I had strayed away from Gurkha to try other brands but now I'm back to stay with their line of smokes.
