Smooth as silk.

By all accounts, this 91-rated blend is a masterful one. It’s often compared to AVO cigars - indeed many would say it outpaces and outshines its rival, offering copious amounts of mellow, creamy smoothness. And despite its subtle body, Gurkha Symphony delivers a genuine richness of flavor and complexity, even a smidge of spiciness on the palate.

Formerly this brand was titled another name, and the cigars were adorned with only the silver band you see in the picture. Everyone who burned one loved it. Problem is, no one could read the script on the bands let alone pronounce the name, except for the word Symphony. True story: I was golfing with a guy who said to me, “that cigar you gave me on the first tee was fantastic....what was its name again, Something Scientific?” With a cigar this good it's a crying shame to have a band no one could read and a name no one could remember. So I called the manufacturer, and said “hey , just add a Gurkha band to it and let’s rename the cigar Gurkha Symphony.” And what do you know, they actually did it. So this here’s the same exact cigar, only now with a new band and a new name you can actually pronounce. It’s well worth the coin, treat yourself to a delicious, flavorful and mellow that tastes all the better accompanied by a fat CI discount.

Great cigar
For those of us who enjoy a milder smoke, these are the perfect choice. Mellow right to the end.

Simply the best !
I have sampled a lot of Gurkhas over the years , but this is the only one I go back to. Far and away the best one they make. Smooth with a little kick . The Symphony and CAO Black are my Connecticut "go to's ".

Save your money
First thing this is my first Gurka, very disappointing, came into it like every cigar I try but this one started off bitter after tast, it burns evenly, nice draw, but I can’t get past the taste. It received 2 stars I felt generous, I did receive a few different ones for Christmas I will try them hopefully they will be better than this.

I'm in tune with this Symphony
I bought a couple of these cigars, on a price basis, and was not disappointed. They were pretty good so I have kept a couple in the humidor and break one out when I am grillin and chillin on the patio.

Don't bother
Prelight-soft spots taste-nothing special, typical fair Connecticut midpoint-big knot ( why I hate Ghurkha ) that's it Don't usually smoke them and wasn't sure where I got it. Reconfirmed my feeling about Ghurkha quality. Should have givin it a 1 but the taste was a 2 if not for the knot.
Customer Testimonials
Not awful, but nothing to write home about. This cigar has a tight draw and the wrapper is delicate. It smells just ok and tastes about the same. It was a good deal when I bought it, so it was worth a try, but I'm not coming back to this one.
