It’s time to welcome G2’s newest addition to the family.
Graycliff G2 managed to bring an upper echelon brand down to the masses, and for this reason it gained a massive following. That’s certainly easy to do when you offer a top-notch cigar at a palatable price point. Those die-hard G2 fans had some requests, and as it turns out, the crowd pleasers at Graycliff were listening. In order to appease the demands of their consumers, Graycliff introduced the next extension in the G2 portfolio: Graycliff G2 Maduro.G2 Maduro utilizes the same Dominican and Nicaraguan long-fillers as its older brother, but this time the wrapper leaf adds a welcomed twist into the equation. Adorning this beauty is a Pennsylvania Broadleaf maduro wrapper, which gives G2 Maduro additional body and complexity. Brimming with notes of cocoa, spice, and cream, G2 Maduro is sure to become a new staple pick in your rotation.
All I can say is WOW! I tried the toro size. Rich chocolate with sweet spices. Very smooth and midway you get hit hard with short leather blasts that fade into a long chocolate finish. A very long finish. If you like rich chocolate with hints of sweet spice, then this is a must try.
Right now I'm reaching the nub of one of these sticks and I tell you, for the price and taste of one of these I'll definitely be buying some in the very near future. At first I was skeptical of the taste, but after getting a quarter of the way through I was sold. It's a decent draw, and a good pairing to my drink for the night. I'll definitely be buying some in the future. I'm glad I received it as a pair from taking part in the Cigar of the Month Club.
I could be mistaken, but this may be the former G2 "Turbo" that I purchased for years. Of the Graycliff series, the Turbo was my favorite stick. I am purchasing of a box today to throw in the humidor for a few years. This is a fantastic cigar, well blended with a hearty smoke-filled aroma. When I smoke this cigar, passerby enthusiasts always ask, "What cigar is it?" No other cigar that I smoke can do that.
