More like 'Grand' Habano.
The Gran Habano # 3 Habano comes dressed in a toothy and leathery Nicaraguan Habano wrapper. This oily and supple leaf encases a well-aged blend of Costa Rican, Nicaraguan, and Mexican long-fillers to promote a smooth, medium to full-bodied smoke that’s quite complex, yet incredibly well-balanced. Hearty notes of cedar, spices, coffee, and roasted nuts make an appearance behind billows of cool, dry smoke. Rated ’4.5’ by SMOKE Magazine, the Gran Habano #3 is a must try.
Good News! Gran Habano #3 just landed on Cigar Aficionado's Best Buys of 2019 list and earned a 90-point rating, noting: "Primary notes of earth and cedar carry nutty hints of leather. The sweet finish smacks of honey and salted caramel."
Received this cigar as part of the Backyard Boogie sampler. Was really impressed with the #3 Habano. Slight spice, notes of cedar and cream. Very enjoyable right to the nub.
Good smoke for an every day stick. Worth buying them for the price. Smooth draw with good taste. Not my favorite, but I'd give it an 8 out of 10 for its value.
Enjoyed these. Not my favorite. I've had better but these are good. Certainly worth having a few of these in the humidor. Don't always get a consistent burn. Have to manage it. Easy draw. Pleasant taste with some spice. Taste varies somewhat from one stick to the next and that's where I have some issues. Not major deltas but enough to cause it to suffer some on my favorite list.
Great cigar. Went to the driving range with it today and couldn't put it down. Great smoke output, great flavor, smooth and consistant burn
New to cigars have been trying all kinds until I tried this one. WOW I'm hooked absolutely love this stick great taste at a great price a must try
Absolutely wonderful cigar! Got one in my motherlode sampler and I had a good feeling that I'd be in for a great smoke sesh when I picked it up and WOW it did not disappoint. Great smooth taste, excellent draw, thick smoke, even burn, and beautiful wrapper. I will most definitely be ordering a box of these!
Alright everybody just forget about these. I want them all to myself thank you. These have received the seal of approval as my go-to-everyday-smoke. Excellent construction, flavorful and rich, all the way to the nub. Not a hint of bitterness even as my fingers burn. I'm no expert, but dadburn it I love these sticks!
I could not fight the urge to fire this bad boy up after just 3 days in the humi, but sometimes caution is not the best course of action. Am I ever glad I gave in on this one. When first placed in my mouth it was a salty and spicy first strike with nothing but better things to come. Nearly a full-body with an slight draw (nothing major) required. Slow burn that I did not want to end. As a dedicated cheap-ass, I will no doubt pile on these the next time they are on the daily or (dare to dream) hit the 2fer bin.
The Gran Habano Black (habano wrapper) is just plain awesome. Nutty and creamy with excellent construction and nice burn. A very satisfying cigar indeed!
I smoked a Gran Habano # 3 last night, it was wonderful, great draw, pepper, very little aftertaste, very smooth, I would diffently consider buying a box in the future.
I had the #3H Robusto (Gran Haban0) and it is a real beauty, all black and oily. The draw has only the slightest of resistance and gobs of smoke. it opens with a burst of pepper that drops to a slight undertone that faintly tickles the back of the throat as it quickly smoothes out for the rest of the smoke. Lots of leather and earth flavors play across the tongue for the rest of the smoke. Overall a full strength cigar that is only slightly harsh while supplying full and complex taste. Begs to be allowed to improve with age in your humidor.
