Fonseca Cubano Limitado

Fonseca, amplified.

Carefully blended by cigar legend Manuel Quesada, Fonseca Cubana Limitado employs a bold combination of tobaccos including a Honduran Habano wrapper, Nicaraguan ligero binder, and a robust blend of Dominican long-fillers. Indeed, this is far from your ordinary Fonseca. Expect a bold, Cuban-esque profile that's well-balanced and layered with notes of earth, pepper, coffee, sweetness, and a somewhat 'twangy' finish. This one's a hidden gem.

Fonseca Cubano Limitado received a well-deserved 90-rating noting: "Covered in a notably oily wrapper, this attractive cigar has a lush draw that delivers rich earthy notes matched by molasses and nougat sweetness and a tangy finish."

My favorite smoke.
I’ve been smoking these for a couple of years now. I first saw them in my local cigar store & the oily look on the wrapper enticed. I picked up a few & was hooked. Medium to full... I tried others I thought might match but kept coming back for more until my shop ran out. I was absolutely delighted that IC carried them at a better price!

Customer Testimonials
Wow! This is an excellent cigar with great taste and the aroma is wonderful. This cigar has a twangy finish that is delightful.

Enjoyed one of these yesterday - a nice way to spend an hour and 20 minutes. Nice presentation and good construction, but a bit of a right draw initially (worked out easily though). Good, medium to full body, with flavors of coffee, earth, woodsiness and buttered toast. Nice finish with a slight spice that was very enjoyable. I'd give this one a 9/10 easily.

What a Great smoke very complex smooth and tons of flavor Fonseca has done it again do yourself a favor i would put this blend up against other brands and it could go toe to toe with the best of them.

I am truely amazed at the good things that are coming out of the Fonseca factory. This is another well blended Manuel Quesada stick with a ligero binder. But while it does give it a harder pepper taste, the ligero is not over-powering to the Honduran-Cubano wrapper. I find it very comparable to CAO's Italia but at a fraction of the price. You can also expect compliments if you use the Cubano Limitado as a give away cigar as well provided the reciever can handle this type of taste profile. Some other descriptors as I burn down the leaf are coffee, earthy and a mild sweetness, probably from the D.R. filler. Burned evenly and complete and lasted approximately 1 & 1/2 hours. Great value for a medium/bold premium. Consider pairing with a cup of coffee spiked with a shot of Cafe Patron.

Fonseca's full bodied Cubano Limitado is one fantastic cigar! I love it! This is not your Father's Fonseca, by any stretch. Most of their other offerings would be considered timid by comparison, to the full flavor profile FCL delivers in spades! Can't wait to find these on sale or even on a closeout. I would jump all over them at a reduced price.

Just smoked of of these, great flavor to the stick but the one I had had a run in it and didn't burn evenly, however this did not diminish the flavor at all. I would definitely buy another. Realistically the cigar I had could have sat around a while before I got it, it was in a humidor my dad gave me about three weeks ago, either way definitely worth a try.

I've never really been much of a Fonseca fan, but these are really good. I especially like the Brevita (4.7" x 43) size. Spice/wood/coffee & very smooth - especially on the retrohale. Definitely a "hidden gem".
