Fields of Gold

The impossible 79-cent cigar!

Hell has frozen over. Pigs are flying. Beer is now available in all water fountains. So go ahead and buy that lottery ticket, because the impossible is now a reality. There's no other rational explanation for Fields of Gold. With 3 different wrappers to choose from, at less than a buck a stick, and yet made with care...yes indeed, this is one cigar you need to give the hairy eyeball, STAT. These sticks are perfect for just hanging around, or for handing out to all your friends. For just 79-cents apiece, you can afford two, buddy! That's right, just 79-cents apiece. Get in on the action now, because this deal is crazier than a tank of sharks with laser beams attached to their heads.

Connecticut – This extraordinarily mellow, smooth, and creamy Connecticut is as easy-going as they come.

Maduro
– An enjoyable mellow to medium-bodied smoke with a dark, oily maduro wrapper.

Habano
 – Rich and spicy, with a smooth, cedary finish.

A Pleasant Surprise.
More than I expected for the price. Abundant smoke with rich flavor and aroma. A really enjoyable smoke at a great price.

Not very good
These cigars were not as good as previous ones. They were not rolled tight enough. Reason I ordered these is because tried and tried to get previous brand ones, and not available for long time.
3 out of 5
No a consistent smoke
They're a good smoke, but 10% or higher are too tight, and another 10% are too loose, but that being said, I have bought 10 boxes of these over the year, so I keep coming back. Hint of vanilla, light flavor, good working cigar.

Fields of Gold
I bought these cigars and i can say they are okay they are cheap in price. The question is would i order them again most likely not they are a decent cigar i received 100 of them i have been handing them out to my friends to get their feed back and see what they thought they say they are okay. Next time i will not order so many and stick with the brands i know like Ashton Macanudo ect. the Fields of Gold are a okay cigar. You get what you pay for.

Humidor Filler
Great for filling the humidor and that's about it. As soon as you cut them they start falling apart inside and out, flavor is inconsistent, and they don't hold the moisture like good cigars do. Dry no matter what.

I'm not a full time smoker but these are very good for the price. For a part time smoker they fit the bill. Steady smoke and mild flavor.

fields of gold is the
fields of gold is the right cigar for me...why ? Because I smoke them on the golf course, in the garage and when you guys put "free freight" on the deal or "make your own price", I'll purchase a lot more of them. And yes, I went to Cuba last Oct., 2016 for a week - brought back a lot of Cuban Cigars...but I'll still purchase Field of Golds when I get the "deal" - do you have any out there for me "

What This Country Needs.......
Vice President Thomas Marshall once stated, "What This Country Needs Is A Good 5 Cent Cigar." Well, with Fields of Gold Coronas you have it!! Not bad...smokable....but one gets one one pays for. Comparable to Muriels or White Owls.

I guess you get what you pay for. These didn't burn symmetrically and the taste was not what I expected. I wouldn't recommend these.

Modest Cigar, Good Value
You will not likely mistake Fields of Gold for a vintage Padron, but that's not what this cigar is for. It is value-priced and quite serviceable for those occasions where you might not have the time to smoke an entire cigar or be able to give it your complete attention. Sometimes only a filet mignon will do, but Fields of Gold is for when you just want to enjoy a nice hot dog.

GOOD SMOKE VALUE!
These cigars are a bit rough around the edges, but other than than, they make a good everyday smoke. They burn relatively smooth and draw easily. I need something for everyday that was not too expensive and these filled the bill perfectly! Although, not the prettiest to look at, they smoke well and are a great value for the money.

Nice medium smoke
Has a nice medium smoke through out cigar burn. Is a little loose on roll and outside leaf could have smaller veins for a more even smoke. Over all is a great deal for the money

Curly Head Knockoffs???
These smokes are alright. You get what you pay for. They burn nice and even, which surprised me, because I bought these as Yard Cigars. If anything, they have the flavor and feel of a Curly Head (Natural). I'd rather smoke a Curly Head...well...I'd actually rather smoke a Davidoff, if you know what I'm sayin'!

Good little cigar and an exceptional value for a quick smoke. They do tend to vary in strength which adds to the mystery of these cigars. I would highly recommend a try on this one.

Not as good as it gets
Falls apart after you cut it, the binding unravels, you get more tobacco in your mouth than the flavor of the cigar, but, when you finally do get a few good inhales, it does taste good.

Bang for the buck
It's a somewhat mild smoke with an easy draw with some light notes of toast and a hint of cedar. It won't impress the cigar snobs in your midst, but it will provide a nice everday smoke at a VERY reasonable price.

You get what you pay for.
I decided to change it up a little and try these cigars as my everyday smoke. Wrong choice, the cigars were very moist and rolled very loosely. I had a difficult time using a punch on these cigars. they burned ok, but I wouldn't order them again.

cheap, ad decent cigar. just let them sit in the humidor for a awhile before enjoying
I'm a fan of cheap decent cigars. I broke out of my norm of Cuban Delights to give these a try, at first I was disappointed. they where really dry, taking all 100 out the the plastic wrappers i had to handle them with extreme care. my first 4 that i had that had only been the the humidor less than a week where dry, loosely wrapped, and a poor cigar. BUT after a good week in the humidor i actually really like these, i dont have the issue of these being wrapped to loose, still loose, but not to loose. flavor isnt bad at all, i will go for the darker set next time. but as for a cigar that i smoke around 2-4 a day, these are perfect.

Worst Cigars I've ever bought
If I could rate them less than a one I would. About a 1/3 when clipped had hair and small pieces of twine in them. Soft, didn't burn correct, wouldn't stay lit. I'll never order them again!

For the price, they can't be beat
Can't say much bad about these. Put them in the humidor for awhile, then use them for a quick smoke, 9 holes, or walking the dog. I'm on my third box.

great daily smoke
Mild enough for an everyday smoke, consistent flavor from end to end. I do seem to get a lot of tobacco in my mouth while puffing.

Field of Gold Corona
Good everyday cigar well worth the low price. This cigar will never replace the higher priced cigars we smoke for relaxing pleasure, but when you feel like smoking a cigar and may or may not have time to finish it then this could be for you.

Great everyday smoke!
The price of this cigar is without equal. Although the construction is not long leaf, the tobacco choices work well. It is a good burn, lights easily and stays little. I would purchase a hundred more.

I liked the cigar, but it was loosely packed and the thin wrapper would get saturated quickly. Uneven burn on most of the cigars.

Cheap and decent.
If they were in smaller packages at the same price they'd be worth it. But after smoking a couple dozen you get sick of them. They're just alright. They're good enough to smoke but I've never craved one and they're very loosely packed. You get what you pay for I guess. They're great for handing out to moochers.

loosely rolled, burn uneven, fall apart and are harsh
Have been buying cigars from Cigars International for years and years. Got a box of these Field of Gold maduro cigars. They are loosely rolled, they fall apart, they burn uneven and are quite harsh, if you like these traits in a cigar, buy them, otherwise keep your money! Actually...Cigars International should pay me to smoke those cigars!

Good Daily Ciigar
Not the best tasting cigar but good for walking the dog or doing yard work.
3 out of 5
Put them in a humidor with plenty of water for a couple weeks and they will vastly improve.
These cigars came to me a bit on the dry side, much too dry! they didn't taste very good and were wrapped to loose. I put them in the humidor for a couple weeks and got them fairly well hydrated and the flavor is much improved. Once they are hydrated enough they are not a bad cigar, and they burn fairly evenly. They still burn too fast due to being loosely wrapped and they get a little bite about halfway down, but for the price not too bad of a smoke. a little more tobaco to inprove the wrap tightness would slow down the burn rate and make a great little cigar. The price is great and I will keep buying them as long as the price stays this low. GRIZZ

great rugged looking sticks...
yes, it's a rough looking stick...yes, bits can come out of your cut end...but, the flavor is surprising good...for the money it's a good deal for the experienced smoker who doesn't want to burn a premium smoke while you're out planting tomatos... i can appreciate these "clint eastwood/man with no name" smokes...

I enjoy doing business with your company. You have good pricing and good turn around time on my orders.

Great for the price, but with a few reservations
Cigar was fine tasting BUT you chewed more and had more tobacco in your mouth than others. But still a great buy for an inexpensive cigar for a beak or not trying to carry in your mouth or while working on something else.

You get what you pay for
The cigar has a nice flavor and easy draw however the construction is poor and the cigar is very soft. I usually punch my tips but the cigar is so soft that is impossible. the top of the cigar is all trimmings so you constantly get tobacco on your tongue. If you want a cheap cigar go with a machine made cigar and not these

A GREAT CIGAR FOR THE MONEY!
This little beauty is a real find. I usually don’t like to order cheaper cigars because they tend to be harsh, hard to draw, and many fall apart while you are smoking them. This beauty came as a complete surprise! They actually taste good and they burn evenly, right to the end. Let’s face it, it’s not a 91 rated but at the price, you wouldn’t expect it to be. It is just what it is, a good, reasonable everyday smoke and one you can smoke 1, 2, or 3 a day and love every minute of it. Truly a great purchase for the price, and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a good everyday smoke at a good price!

Fields of Gold Corona Maduro
In making my purchase of 100 cigar box of Field of Gold I was apprehensive on ordering, with concerns if I didn't like them what then? Well I was pleasantly surprised. The cigars were very good. I tried three cigars using a hole punch, clippers, v-groove. I got the best taste with the clipper. Will I order them again ? As soon as my supply in my humidor goes down. Sure Bet.

Too good tho be true
I really liked these these cigars for the first 8 0r 10, but then they got very loose and sloppily rolled almost like it was intentionally done that way to save tobacco. 100 cigars at this price seemed too good too be true and I suppose it was.

Loose
Not a bad smoke for everyday, but wrapped to loose constantly spitting bits of tobacco

Well worth the coin.
Good smoke they favor Victor Sinclair Clasico's maduro. Mine have been very oily stay lit with tons of chewy smoke and last about 45 min spicy with toasty tobacco flavors from start to finish. Chewed and smoked one today as I ran the weed eater held together like a champ.

A good cigar!!
Adding to my review; I bought the large box because of cash flow. I did not expect much. Smoked one right away and was very surprised! To me a cheap "gar will irritate my mouth. Had no such problem with this one. It gives you a nice creamy mild- medium taste. Yes, a more expensive cigar is, of course better tasting. But, if you're looking for a decent inexpensive (not CHEAP) every day smoke, give Fields of Gold a shot. You might be surprised too!!

Worth the money.
When I lit one of these up in the house I got complaints that they stunk. Maybe they do, but the taste is very tolerable. If you don't want to chance buying 100, try a 5 pack. You may be pleasantly surprised. Or you won't be. You only lose 5 bucks!!

Fields of Gold
When I received my order I was elated. Although it is a mild smoke, the construction of the cigar is extremely poor and the wrapper is just as bad. After smoking a couple of them I tossed the remaining 90 out, I've come to the conclusion that bargain hunter cigars are not worth it. I ordered my trusty Victor Sinclair's Primeros.
3 out of 5
heap but decent cigar
I enjoy a good cheap cigar like the Fields of Gold corona. I get frustrated when some of the cigar don't smoke evenly and I have to draw hard for a good smoke or that some cigars burn inside only and not evenly.

Smoke with value
Great cigar with a great price. Keep the price low and I will continue to buy this great cigar.
Customer Testimonials
Ordered this box of 100 just to have a knock around cigar....I'm VERY impressed. My preference is for churchills, but I will definitely order these again. A smaller and quicker smoke than the churchill, but much better than the price would indicate, and perfect for the times when I can't invest as much time in a smoke.
Very nice flavor, fits in with the others I buy 6 inches as noted, ring is about as specified. Burns very nice. I will buy them again.
Good for the money. Completely satisfied with them.
Nice smooth cigar. Thanks CI.
These need some time to rest; had one after 12 hrs rest. It was very bitter and funky tasting. After a couple weeks of rest, it was much better; mild and much smoother, with a slight sweet smoke. I would buy as a yard gar rotation if they had smaller packaging with the discount price of a 100. But in 100 stick box I will pass.
A great deal for the price. Good draw and burn.... IMO, smokes a little stronger than mild, which is a good surprise. I will order these again.
Excellent, fresh, mild cigar. This will be my everyday cigar. Thanks.
