Exactly what you’ve been looking for.

Every now and then a cigar comes along, and everything about it is just right. Right blend...right flavor...right look. That’s what we’ve got here with Exactus Clasico, a visually stimulating and deliciously nuanced handmade from a boutique cigar company. Exactus is a business of humble beginnings that dates back to 1955. Headed up by Osvaldo Rodriguez, the son of company founder Don Pulita, it’s also a brand that has serious staying power.

Clasico is rich and creamy in flavor, with surprising yet delightful nuances of fruit thanks to a very deliberate blending technique. An Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper sits atop a blend of Dominican Criollo ’98 fillers. The unique piece here is the Dominican wine fermented Criollo ’98 binder, which contributes those fruit notes we were discussing earlier. Mellow to medium in body, this one would be ideal for the first smoke of the day. The construction is excellent and the taste is wholly unique. Give one a try, you won’t be sorry.

Exactus clasico cigars are decent cigars if you prefer something on the milder side but that has a different taste. The only problem with the cigar is on lighting and the initial third of the cigar. The pallate is washed with an unpleasant pepper taste that does not fit with the cigar. However the flavor evens out and the wine fermentation becomes evident and lends an enjoyable and unique character to the cigar.

Customer Testimonials
Got one of these as a freebie with an order. I'm not usually too impressed with the freebies; this one was different. The draw was as perfect as any Padron, medium in body, with nice nutty kind of uniqueness. These would be worth a second try for sure.
