Oh, baby! Do I have a cigar for you! Ok, ok, I realize I sound like a used car salesman here, but I’m just pumped about the new Evelio. Supremely smooth, with a slightly sweet tip, you could enjoy these all day long. Made from all Dominican long-fillers, Evelio is topped off with a lovely, golden Connecticut-seed wrapper. Silky smooth, mellow, and pleasant - to me, this an enjoyable morning cigar. But with these prices, you could afford these any time of day.

Evilio is a mild cigar with a sweet cap. The sweetness quickly dissipates, though, leaving a very mild, almost bland final two-thirds. I’ve had better mellow cigars so will revert back to those rather than reordering these.

OK cigar, but not the best, it was suppose to be mellow but I found it to be a bit strong at first until I went to a full cut from a V cut I could not detect any sweetness from it. It would be a good everyday smoke.

My first impression of the Evelio cigar wasn't favorable. But, after letting them rest in the humidor for a while, they proved to be an excellent smoke, particularly considering their cost. They offer earthy notes with a hint of vanilla, burn consistently, and have an effortless draw. However, I didn't detect any sweetness from the cap. If the cap had a bit of sweetness, this cigar would easily earn a 5-star rating for its price point.

I kept seeing the Evelio brand in the CI catalog, so I took a shot at it. Good cigar if you prefer a lighter smoke. Just like the catalog describes, it's a smooth mild cigar with a slightly sweet tip, but not too sweet. For as light as it is this cigar produces a satisfying smoke with subtle flavor nuances to it. All mild and good. Hard to describe. I tried a number of the sizes but the Toro is my favorite. The burn is even on every cigar leaving a sturdy straight white ash that can hang on well through half the cigar. It's a fine roll and well crafted. The flavors are mellow throughout with no hot harsh ending. The burn time is perfect for an evening smoke on the deck with a tumbler of your favorite spirit. I think I'm on my 5th or 6th box and the cigars have been consistent as described above. So far, so good. Enjoy! DOC

I enjoy a lighter Dominican cigar and the Evelio brand hits the mark for me. It is well crafted, has an even burn and a mellow but very satisfying flavor throughout the experience. It consistently has an even draw and I've never had one burn unevenly. Over the years I've stepped through a number of brands and sizes, sticking with them until I find a satisfying smoke that replaces it. Right now, Evelio is my top pick and I'm not in any hurry to look for anything to replace it as my 'Go To' cigar. Paul K. (DOC)

I'm always looking for an inexpensive, mellow, fill-in cigar. I generally smoke 2 cigars in an evening sitting; one from my A list and one from my B list. This cigar fits nicely into the B list. It's dependable and looks and feels great and smokes very well. Very mellow, good burn rate, I can smoke it to the nub--and it doesn't break the bank.

Now I’m no cigar connoisseur, I have only tried a couple dozen different cigars. But these are absolutely the best I have had. They are so incredibly smooth and take no effort to draw from. They have a very light taste, which is just what I like. They come in a gorgeous box with a great look.
