El Primer Mundo La Hermandad Costa Fuerte

Join the brotherhood.

El Primer Mundo hit the ground running in 2006 and hasn’t looked back. Recently, owner Sean Williams teamed up with Abe Flores, a dynamic duo to rival Batman and Robin. Their first release together, and one of their most popular lines; La Hermandad, meaning ‘the brotherhood’, showcases both men at the top of their games.

Hailing from the Pinar del Rio factory in the Dominican, Hermandad arrives with guns blazing, adorned with a natural Brazilian Arapiraca wrapper leaf. Aged Nicaraguan long-fillers and binder add to Hermandad’s complexity and promote notes of cream, spice, cedar, and herbs. If you have yet to come across an El Primer Mundo, here is your chance to discover all you’ve been missing!

Not up to EPM standard of taste
I have now smoked two of these. One had the construction and draw I expect from this not inexpensive brand. The other required a tougher puff. Main complaint is the undistinguished taste of this cigar. Very surprising, as the other EPM cigars I have smoked have been excellent. I am assuming this is some sort of value offering from Mr. S. Williams, except it aren't value priced.

Sadly, a disappointment
I purchased ten of these and have now smoked two. The first one did not have the perfect easy draw I get on the rest of the EPM line. But worse, it contained no distinctiveness of taste. I could have been smoking a well made buck-a-stick cigar. The second one contained the excellent draw and burn I want and had a mild pick-up on the taste in the second half but was still a disappointment. I will now work my way through the other eight. This was not premium smoke, I must sadly and unexpectedly report.
