El Galan Campestre Maduro

Steak for the price of Beefaroni.

Felix Mesa, write the name down and remember who told you first about this rising star in the cigar community. Cuban-born, and trained in the mystical arts of Cuban cigar cultivation and production, he used his cat-like reflexes and superb ninja skills to escape the fortified communist stronghold just south of Miami. Setting up camp in Nicaragua, Mesa has been quietly producing some of the best blends on the market.

Produced at Mesa’s El Galan factory in Esteli, Nicaragua, El Galan Campestre Maduro offers flawless construction and a full boat of flavor, and when you see what these sticks cost, you’ll do a double-take. Featuring a dark and oily maduro wrapper over a potent mix of Nicaragua long-fillers, this medium to full-bodied blend will make you sit up and take notice from the get-go with a hearty dose of pepper, spice, while notes of cream and cedar make themselves at home in the background. Add a few bundles to your cart and laugh all the way to the checkout, because at these prices, it’s like grand theft.

meh
Not a great cigar, but about what you might expect at this price point. I probably won't buy it again.

Good Smoke
Not a top of the line but a "good" lawn mowing cigar or a quick BBQ smoke. I only had to re-light once other then that was a decent smoke. I would definitely buy again.

Tried and lost
This cigar looks good but suffers from inconsistancy. I will not disparage the product; maybe time in humi would help the taste but it will not fix rolling errors. IMHO overpriced at this price point.
