Drew Estate Gatsby Luxury Flake

This one is for you Great Grand Pappy.

Gatsby Luxury Flake is a traditional flake, slice cut, and composed of flue-cured Virginia tobaccos along with just a hint of Cavendish. This small dosage of Cavendish adds big-time flavor to the mix, bringing welcome intrigue and complexity. Expect this one to build in intensity throughout, initially showing the signs of a tamer blend, before shifting into a meaty medium.

Great flake for the price. Smooth tobacco. I like it better than orgs.

Great Taste
My favorite I think i have found the perfect way to pack this tobacco I take a pinch off and pack it in with the grain vertical it packs tight but allows air flow. I smoke it in a Peterson spigot 03 and a Peterson Deluxe 03.

Great smoke
This is my favorite I just picked up my pipe after 30 years and have read reviews of how great other tobaccos are but for my taste this is the best but I still have more exploring to do.

Tasty Treat for Virginia Lovers.
I smoke Virginias pipe tobacco exclusively, but once in awhile I like to mix it up with a bit of aromatic mixed in. Gatsby Luxury Flake is perfect at those times. Clearly a Virginia but with a good bit of black Cavendish mixed in. And right now it's offered at an insanely low price for a tin tobacco. Mix in a can of this blend!

I bought this for a friend and he liked it but said it was hard to keep lit.

Good start, strong finish!
At first light, it was a delightful smoke but as time progressed it became stronger and stronger with each breathe.

a good flake.
I wanted something with good flavor and aroma. It no odd spices like you'd have in acid cigars. This is it. Drew Estate seems to be taking the serious approach to making pipe tobacco.
