Drew Estate & Caldwell All Out Kings

All Out Kings? Far out, man!

It’d be hard to name a cigar that caused more buzz in the cigar world than All Out Kings. When Willy Herrera announced the cigars would be postponed further (in order to give them more aging time), people were going blue in the face in anticipation. Well wait no longer. All Out Kings is here. Put simply: if you’ve ever enjoyed a medium to full-bodied cigar, this one should be quickly placed at the top of your wish list.

All Out Kings is a collaboration project between three of the hottest names in the industry today — Jonathan Drew, Willy Herrera, and Robert Caldwell. Here DE consistency and quality meets Caldwell’s immaculate attention to detail and flashy packaging in a match made in heaven. As for the cigar itself? It’s a dark, stalk-cut Connecticut Habano wrapped dream. Indonesian Sumatra binder and long-fillers from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic combine to create a complex profile of cedar, warm, nutty notes, thick, cherry-like sweetness, and dry coca. Complex, delicious, and entirely unique, you can’t afford to skip this soon-to-be legend.

not thier best
what happened?beautiful mottled and oily wrapper, a little snug on the cold draw with sweet notes. not the best construction and mild at best never reaching medium. but the flavor! reminded me of tercio aged leaf. if you like figs this is right in your wheel house. one dimensional and slightly metallic, the burn wobbled and finally needed touching up in the last third.far from a pleasure to smoke. needless to say i was disappointed in this and that is RARE today.considering the "pedigree" behind this cigar i found my expectations far from being met especially what i paid for this torpedo.overvalued and not recommended.:(

Good Deal
Great smoke and draw. Needs a bit of time in the humidor though

Good Cigar
I tried the toro and torpedo. Although they were good, I believe they will be great with a little time in the humidor. Drew & Caldwell are old school blenders. Meaning to get the blender's vision, humidor time is necessary. Very easy draw. Liga Privada T52 with more character and body.
