Don Smith!

Don Smith - Series D no less, actually "Series Dee" - is amazing. Not the cigar....the concept. Take Don. Here's a traditional start to a cigar name. Then combine it with the most common Gringo surname. Then, actually spell out the letter 'D' in Series Dee. This takes cheese to a whole new level. The amusement factor alone is worth the price. And you may be surprised to know the cigar actually ain't half bad. Made with Sumatra Ecuador wrappers and a mellow blend of Dominican long-fillers, these big Churchills are moderate in body and not overly dreadful.

This modestly priced, individually wrapped, hand rolled cigar is mild, mellow, and smokes well. It punches significantly above its price point. No, you are not going to throw away your pricier sticks for one of these, but while you are doing yard work, fishing, golfing, etc. and want a cigar that you can enjoy for a very inexpensive price, Don Smith will hit the spot.

If I had to rate this cigar, it would be around 75. It burns nicely; the draw is good. The taste on the other hand is a bit bland, and the name is beyond cheezy.

Smooth smoke. Stays lit. I can go through two of these in the afternoon while doing chores. There are a few neighbors who come over and want to smoke a stogie around my fire pit. I hand these out like candy. There are other backyard smokes out there, buy these and you'll be pleased. It won't hurt your pocket book.

This is my go-to, everyday, walk-the-dog smoke. I've tried a bunch of CI samplers and this is by far my favorite. It's smooth, mild, and flavorful. I offered them to a couple of my snobby "I only smoke Davidoff" friends (just to tweak them a bit) and they really enjoyed it. I blew their mind when I told them the price. ;-)

These sticks were better than I anticipated. They were consistent in flavor and taste, but every one had a problem with the burn. They did (every one) canoe. So, somewhere in the construction there was a problem. However, I would probably purchase them again.
